Hi !
I found this site a while ago when my bf first applied to the Navy commandos but thought id wait a while. Didnt want to jump the gun incase it all fell through.
Hes just passed his interview and medical. He has his RMAD on the 15th and is realy looking forward to it. He keeps going on about how he wishes it was all faster so he can start his PRMC not caring that i want it to drag on! lol
Iv been feeling a bit stresed as nobody in our familys want him to join up so im the only person that he realy talks to about it. I have been encouraging him as its somthing he realy wants to do tho Im quite scared about it all. I get quite tearful already just thinking about him going!
im glad i found this web site its been realy interesting to read your posts as iv been feeling quite lonley.

I'm Lucy, my OH is based in afghan at the moment and yes at times it can be quite lonely, but you have come to the right place and the girls on here will help you out so much and give you excellent advice when things get tough.

Hi girls, thank you for the welcome :) my lip trembled a bit reading them lol my emotions are a bit all over the place i think :rolleyes:
we got some good news today (i think!) My OH found out today he passed his RMAD on tuesday so i think he has his PRMC in sept? not 100 %
I got quite miffed because the navy contacted his old number and told his mum first!! but i think realy i was miffed at him making the grade ..He wasnt realy optimistic that he had passed the rmad because his running was below par so i thought things might be delayed for a bit. i ran off to the toilet to have a cry before he could notice. tho im sure he did he waited till i came out to give me a kiss before going to work! lol
iam pleased for him tho lol tho it doesnt sound like it. Apparently his recruiting officer wants to meet with me. not very sure why, did this happen to any one else? could you tell me what its all about im quite nervous about it :(

hi berry!! im a navy wag too!! met my oh after he had been in for bout 7 years so im not too sure what happens in the earlier days or why the officer wants to meet with ya! oh calling tonight...hopefully...i will ask him for ya! it is hard at times but im so proud of him and its brilliant on here, always cheers me up!! x x
hi hunni, welcome to wags. my oh had already been in the army about 8 yrs when i met him, so i dont know much about the training side to things i'm afraid. thats great that he passed his RMAD though, woohooo.
try not to worry, this kinda life isnt as bad as it seems. you get used them going away, it's still difficult but we all find ways of coping, and its definately worth the wait. it makes ur relationship have a special kind of bond, and you'll suprise urself how strong u and ur relationship really are!! xxx
hey berry! i asked oh about the recruiting officer wanting to speak to, said that its probably just a informal chat! he wasn't with anyone when he joined up but they did spek to his parents! hope that you are ok? pm me if ya wanna chat xx x x
