anyone feel the same??

hi, my oh has just been on the aquantance couse in scotland and is all ready to go to rally in november. while i know its what he really wants to do and i love his so much, i worried that he will change when he go's off to the navy:(. can anyone give me some advice on how to cope when they are away and if they do change is it for the better, thanks .....

i think you'll find that all the girls on here will say to keep busy, it makes the time go by faster and takes ur mind of missing them so much. i come on here and that helps, especially when i'm down these ladies are great at making me feel better. i think we all find our ways of coping which is why it seems to be so hard at first, i think its something you get used to. as for them changing, not everyone does, but they may change for the better, also you have to remember that in general people do change and relationships are about adapting to those changes. i'm sure you'll cope fine. you'll suprise yourself how strong you really are. xxx

hey betty boop my boyfriend signed up for the navy about 5 months ago and in september he is going to hms raleigh for his basic training i am very scared about him changing and i dont know what it is going to be like when he isn't around. At first i begged him to change his mind but it got me no where it what he really wants to do so i have now accepted it and all th egirls on here really do giv good advice and have helped make me laugh when i am feeling down. i do know how you feel we all do and yes that is what i am worried about the most my will changing. we are all here for you xxx

welcome to wags!! my oh is in navy too! you will find ya own way of coping....mine is writing lists n ticking them off till he comes home, mad i know but what ever works!! its fantastic on here and there is always someone around if ya wanna chat!! x x x
