Hi I'm Sarah and am living in Bristol with husband who is in the Signals
You'll enjoy this website very much if not too much.
Wow thank you so much for the response(s).
My other half is leaving for Bassing in 5 weeks for the 14 weeks then going to Purbright for the rest of training (REME). He has only just joined. He was in the Army before (about 4 years ago - I wasn't with him then though - met a month after discharge) but had a medical discharge. Has been wanting to go back since. Now the time has come and i just feel a bit .... lost:eek:
Hiya Hun, welcome to WAGS, I'm Emma, my oh is going to Bassingbourne for 14 weeks in 7 weeks time!!! He's joining the RE as a POM.
This site has been and will continue to be my pillar of strength, where I come for advice, help, laughs and most of all, the friends I have made on here!! They have been through all the anticiption of my oh joining up, whether he will be accepted, etc right up to personal things too.
I hope you find this site as great as everyone else on here has, and if you ever wanna chat, just pm me xxx
Hi hun, welcome to wags... im Helen xx
Zoe will do, that would be good. Yeah sorry I am not moving with him we are engaged but I am going to Uni in September anyway for 3 years so we are both moving to pastures new. Going to be so hard. He says the first 7 - 14 are the worst.
I feel better since joining here and it's only beed a few days.

Doesn't time creep up on you fast!! one week you think "excellent, we've still got ages together" then suddenly your realising that you've now only got 6weeks left!! Arrggghhhh!!!
Oh well, nothing good comes without hard work I suppose!!
What are you doing at uni??
Hi
Went to the Army office Tuesday so OH could do he's oath thingy. There was a lady sgt there I was a bit scared lol think he was too. She was fab tho, told us all the in and outs and that he is more than likely to go on ops in reme "as you go where they go" she said. And that you get more attention, health care, information when the OH is away etc if you are married whether you live on or off camp. I was like oh thanks!
24 days to go !!!!!!!!!!! :(
Hi sorry this is late!!my OH is going to basingbourne today for 14 weeks ....anyone elses oh going ther?
