Hello everyone!
My name's Kim and I've been happilly married to my husband Lee for 3 months!
Lee is currently in the British Transport Police (so technically I'm a Police Wag!) but he is looking into joining the RAF. We've still got a long way to go and we still dont know if it's for us. He's still undecided whether to go for RAF Police - which is all he knows - or completely learn a new trade.
I grew up in the RAF as my Dad joined up when he was 17 (now 44!) and he's now a Chief Tech at RAF Conigsby. I loved my childhood as a RAF brat and I'm sure becoming a RAF Wag will be second nature to me. I was born in Germany when we were first stationed at RAF Laarbruch, 2 years later we moved to RAF Marham where we lived for 5 years before being posted back to RAF Laarbruch for another few years until it's closing in 1999 (I think). I absolutly adored my childhood especially when we lived in Germany, the community was so close and there was such a good vibe amongst neighbors.
We dont have children as yet, although I'm already married I am only 20 and would like to enjoy my husband to myself before creating little monsters!!! We do however have 4 rats and 3 snakes! We've got a little bit of an obsession with VWs, we have a T25 camper and a Baja Beetle - both lots of fun! I'm also a bit of a tattoo lover, 7 and counting!!!
Anyway, I think I've pretty much summed up my life story to you there - sorry! I look forward to chatting to you lot, I'm sure you've got plenty advice for me and I'll be sure to keep you updated on our RAF journey :)
