Hello everyone!
My name's Kim and I've been happilly married to my husband Lee for 3 months!
Lee is currently in the British Transport Police (so technically I'm a Police Wag!) but he is looking into joining the RAF. We've still got a long way to go and we still dont know if it's for us. He's still undecided whether to go for RAF Police - which is all he knows - or completely learn a new trade.
I grew up in the RAF as my Dad joined up when he was 17 (now 44!) and he's now a Chief Tech at RAF Conigsby. I loved my childhood as a RAF brat and I'm sure becoming a RAF Wag will be second nature to me. I was born in Germany when we were first stationed at RAF Laarbruch, 2 years later we moved to RAF Marham where we lived for 5 years before being posted back to RAF Laarbruch for another few years until it's closing in 1999 (I think). I absolutly adored my childhood especially when we lived in Germany, the community was so close and there was such a good vibe amongst neighbors.
We dont have children as yet, although I'm already married I am only 20 and would like to enjoy my husband to myself before creating little monsters!!! We do however have 4 rats and 3 snakes! We've got a little bit of an obsession with VWs, we have a T25 camper and a Baja Beetle - both lots of fun! I'm also a bit of a tattoo lover, 7 and counting!!!

Anyway, I think I've pretty much summed up my life story to you there - sorry! I look forward to chatting to you lot, I'm sure you've got plenty advice for me and I'll be sure to keep you updated on our RAF journey :)

Hiya!

My fiance joined the RAF in April and is now half way through is phase two training at cosford and he loves it! We see each other pretty much every wkend, he either comes home or I go up there (even though hes only been there 5 months theres already quite a close relationship between all the lads on his course and ive become friends with some of their wags too)! So I guess the family feel you experienced as a child is still there! Were getting married next june so we'll be moving onto base which i can't wait for.....lived with him full time for 3 years before he joined so its quite strange not having him around all the time.

Anyway my man met quite a few RAF police when he was at halton doing his basic training and is still mates with some of them. Hope your hubby makes the right decision for him and that ur happy with it too!

xx
