Hi my name's Sarah and I'm new to all this not brand new but close enough lol
My oh is away on training at the minute and I'm finding it really hard :mad: I dont mean to come here to winge but does anyone have any tips on how to make this easier?
I just feel really alone at the minute :o

I've been with my husband for a year and 5 months (we got married on our 1st year anniversary)
I just cant wait to see him again I thought the longer we were apart the easier it would get but it's gettin worse! lol

Hiya hun!
My OH has been away training since april, we lived together for three years prior to that so i found it hard to start with. We do see each other pretty much every weekend and it does get easier...promise!! What weve found is that when hes home or when i go to stay with him, we make sure we spend proper time together, going out for meals etc. It just makes the time we do spend together even better (and my girl friends have been brilliant, keeping me very busy during the week)!!
Were getting married in June next year and then il be moving onto base with him. Im keeping myself busy planning the wedding, i think you just need to get involved with as much as poss, and also visit him where hes training...where is he at the mo?? Ive made friends with some of the other lads OH's too and we meet up when we all go to visit them on base whichis always a laugh.
Anyway, it does get easier just don't let it get to the point where your both miserable when you do see each other...make the most of the weekends until you can move back in with him!

At the minute OH is based at chicksands so I haven't had the chance to go and visit :( I do speak to him on the phone every day but I'm finding it hard (and really annoying!) trying to have a conversation with him when there 20 other lads in the room lol
I'll get over it I'm sure just having a bad couple of days

hey hun welcome to wags,im sure once ur more settled ull start to feel better about it all,not in ur situation yet as OH is still waiting on his training dates but i can see from coming on here it will be hard,but iv got my family and my kids to keep me busy,and the company of the girls on here,who im sure ull enjoy coming on to chat to:)
