Ooh now there's their chance to re-release 'lets get ready to rumble' lol!! The taliban probably saw Ant's big head and mistook it for a target!

My OH was at the same camp as them just recently, in the next door tent (assume camp bastion as oh has been there a few days and don't expect Ant 'n' Dec would be at a FOB) and they apparently aren't that keen to celebrate unsung heroes as they were v un approachable and wouldn't have photos with people. Unlike Ross Kemp who is grinning away in a pic with oh and a group of mates!
Now it's not that I admire And 'n' Dec so greatly that I wished OH to have a souvenir photo for me to build a shrine to (!) but I got a bit sniffy about that. Seems like it's ok to pretend to support the troops and get your gob on camera looking all compassionate but oh no wouldn't want to stand too close to a smelly soldier!

ETA just noticed it was kandahar getting shelled whilst they were at camp bastion - they are (according to oh) a 45 minute journey apart. Believe that's called indirect fire...
