140g butter (unsalted if poss)
150g castor sugar
1 beaten egg
200g plain flour sived
1tsp baking powder
1 big bar Bournville Choc (think its 200g)
macadamia nuts
Preheat oven to gas mark 4
Easiest way is to use food processer. Soften the butter (microwave very short time) & thro in processer with sugar until pale & fluffyish add the beaten egg & mix a bit more. Then add the flour & baking powder & mix. Chop the bournville & nuts & mix into the dough.
Place golf ball sized blobs (well spaced & dont squash blobs down) on a parchment paper covered baking tray, should be enough for 2 trays. Cook for 12-15mins depending on if you like soft or crisp.
