Ooh the first post in Wedding Wonderland :D
Just thought it would be interesting to see what colour schemes you have had/or are planning to have for your wedding...:)
My colour scheme is White, Platinum and Tiffany Blue.
Looks gorgeous when put together....

well im not getting married but i just thought id say that colour scheme sounds lovely. xx
mine was ivory & burgundy
Struggled to get anything to go with his one's, so went mainly for ivory but had the flowers etc in burgundy & dyed to match his para beret so he matched tee hee!
Ooh thats clever lol! Yeah nothing goes with my ohs 1's so he's not wearing his uniform. I would have loved him too but it doesnt go with my colour scheme lol, if only they were plain black without the red lol!

to be honest i didnt know he was going to wear his 'cherry' beret until a week before the wedding (he is reme but para trained so could wear that or his usual black one)
Had already chosen burgandy 'cause i just liked the colour & thought nothing was going to match his uniform at any cost.
But luckily he was with me at the last meeting with the florist & casually mentioned that he had thought of wearing his red beret, she asked him to take it in & she sprayed the lillies to make a perfect match!
I wasnt quite the design genious you all thought i was tee hee!!
I wanted to have yellow as my colour theme but have now decided to have champagne its sooo much easier lol!! I can get a nice champagne colour suit for my dad and bro and for chris to change into for the reception and there are cute lil bridesmaids dresses in ivory and champagne!!! Just as long as there plenty of the real stuff at the do then im happy lol!! x
O and since when has there been a wedding section?? lol

i had coffee and cream, as my colours and i went all out with pink stargazer lily bouquet for me take a gander at my wedding album on facebook, im joanne humphreys newcastle network

I had lilac and silver for my colour scheme! And themed it around "hearts" xxxx
mine sorry i mean ours lol is ivory and like a burnt gold its gorgeous and gone with a butterfly theme-they are on everythin lol :D xxx

We're planning ours at the moment ive found a place that i like but have to wait until we get the cash lol. We're not having a military wedding as oh has refused to wear his uniform as he hates it but he looks so smart but then its bright red. Mind you i wouldnt mind being able to see him in his number ones ive seen a picture and he looks so yummy lol I probably wouldnt get down the aile (sp) if he did where them lol.

i think we've decided that we're going to have a registry office wedding when he comes home from afgan and then in a few years where going to have a proper wedding with everything that we want.
I really want to see oh in uniform he always manages to get out of wearing any uniform its so unfair lol

Thats what I've planned for mine (once I'm engaged lol)
I would like an ivory/cream/whatever! lol dress, bridesmaid in black dresses with cream sash, and not sure about the flowers....

i'm going for red and white. i got my dress before anything else and its diamond white, and oh wants to wear his mess dress coz he thinks he looks hot in it (well he does lol) and thats got red and white, so our colour theme was easy lol xxx

See me and oh have talked about our wedding (not that we're engaged yet) hes gunna wear his air corp blues so i want to try and theme it round that his berret is pale blue which is an idea but obv plenty of time to dream :p oh and a must is candels everywhere!!! :p xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Our wedding theme is going to be black and white.... I'm going to have an ivory gown possibly with some black lace detail, the girls are going to wear black ****tail dresses with pretty white lace pashmina's and they are going to carry white roses. I will carry white roses with red calla lillies and the red calla lillies will be the centre peices at the reception.... not that i have thought this through at all!!! xxxxxx

I wore ivory with an ivory faux fur wrap. My matron of honour (and only bridesmaid) wore an emerald green ****tail dress witha dark chocolate brown faux fur wrap. My flowergirl wore ivory with gorgeous sparkly sheoes. For the bouquests we hat bright pink and purple flowers with lots of greenery. I even tied the seating plan and place cards (which I made with the help of my bridesmaid) into the scheme........stuck loads of purple, silver and green leaves that we cut out using a punch onto them. Am hoping my photographer got some photos of them!! How sad am i?! Lol
Oh stop it you lot hahaha you're making me want to get married right now lmao!! Ahhhh cant wait!

aww it wont be too long vicky. i prosponed mine for a year!!! so i've had an extra year to wait but it makes it more exciting, plus you get longer looking forward to it!!! it wont be long before you're getting stuck in with the planning and booking of everything xx

I have just changed my colour theme to dark blue...... its just easier than champagne with chris being in his numbers ones and flowers!! Much happier with everything now!!

my colour scheme is ivory and silver im wearing ivory, my oh is wearing his number ones (royal engineers) and my bridesmaids are wearing aubergine which is a deep purple floorlength halternecks with a large ivory band of lace round the middle they look so lush! couldnt find anything to go with his number ones or my bridesmaids so got my colour scheme from my reception venue as its all neutral flowers are pretty much the same ivory calla lillys and ivory roses with loads of greens cant wait to see it all together
