My names Hannah, My partner is off to Afghanistan in march, so i am so grateful i came across this website. Looks like you all stick together and help everyone out.... So how tough is this gonna be for me. cos im dreding it really...

Well met my partner just under a year ago, was a year out of my old marriage after 19years....So settled with my two boys in with Luke, living in aldershot.
Im glad to see it gets better, im really trying to put him going at the back of my mind..He is away training on the salisbury plains for two weeks!!! NICE

No probs Hannah! :D You'll settle in really quickly hun...all the girls are fab on here and we're always around to chat if you need us :) My OH is on serving in Afghanistan at the moment..he is due to finish his tour around the same time that your OH goes out. He's been there for about 4 and half months now, and the time has gone by really quickly when I think back to when he went, so try not to worry about March coming round and your OH being deployed. Once he's gone, you can begin your countdown to him coing home, and if you keep yourself busy, it will come around in no time. And you've got us to support you through it now aswell :D xxx

Ahh im really grateful of those words of encouragement...its a bit daunting when you think of the time, but it does fly by...and with two boys im sure i will be busy...Thats great your OH will be home soon..Hannah XX
No, we live in aldershot, thing is Luke is an architect and is in TA , bomb disposal.. so very weird him going really seeing as he doesnt work in army full time...

it creeps up on you so fast it only seemed like it was last year and being told not to mention it as its not happening for a long time and i didnt need to worry yet. But now here we are nearly feb and everything is happening so quick.. and im finding that i want to yell stop and let everything pass by except myself and oh so we dont have to be parted.. i dont know if you can understand that. I think the thing im mostly scared about is that my oh will miss out on meeting his baby thats the only thing thats scaring me right now.

Im due 23rd march but first babies are never on time so i have everything crossed that it will be either on time or early. Hes in the 2nd company welshguards atm their on their final exercise before afgan.

I have been through a seperation i was with my husband 19years since we were 14 then he left me for someone else..we have two boys..now i live with my OH and boys. he has a boy who lives with his ex. we would like a girl but we will see....
seperations are always hard. my ohs the other way round he wants all boys he thinks girls are far to much hassle i think he gets that idea from me lol.

i can see his point, but every woman wants a little girl dont they... my boys are fab, boys are very loyal and cuddly and they always get on with things... well im off to be hon..take care speak soon
im not really fussed just as long as its healthy.. but i'd like one of each but we have to wait and see. ok you to night xxx
