Im New To The Navy Life!!

Hi All My names sammyjo.
this website to me is truly a god send. my oh is due out to afgan next weekend so this is our last weekend together. he has never been away since we have been together and im beside my self with worry and the fact that im going to miss him so much. we have just got a gorg flat together couple of months ago and i always count down the days to him being home for the weekend. we are in contact every day so the thought of not hearing from him kills me but i know its his job and its what he wants to do.
he has 2 gorg twin boys with a perivous partner i was hoping to see them while oh is away but lets just say the ex is being more then awkward so it doesnt look like its going to happen.
i dont have many friends so its hard trying to talk to anyone, but i spend most my eve now crying and wishing someone would call and say dont worry you dont have to go everyones being sent home. is that selfish of me?
sorry to blabber and sorry if i am boring anyone just needed to let this off my chest to people who no how it feels

hes based in guilfored at the mo where is your oh based? how did u cope with him being away x

he is based in the midlands, sounds daft for a navy base really!
he went for four months, i sent parcels every week and e-blueys everyday to him, we were lucky cause communications were good and he called nearly everyday! i made sure that i wrote down a list of things that i wanted to do......painting my house mainly.....and did one thing every week! weekends are hard and i tried to work most of them and pick up extra hours!
if you go to the bfpo website http://www.bfpo.mod.uk/ it will give you info on parcel sending and you can register for a e-bluey account (its email that gets printed off at his end and delivered for him, its free)!
he will also get a phone card with 30mins a week on and you can top this up for him, i used to put a tenner on every 2 weeks and it seemed to last. This is the website with the info on http://www.paradigmsecure.com/our_services/family_and_friends_information

thank you fr all your kind words and surport had to say goodbye to the twinsyeterday and not sure if i will get to see them while nicks away it was heart breaking i love them like they are my own .. still dont know a final date hes on a ranges course now till wed and thinking they will send him very quckly after that ... do anyof u ladie met up? xx
