Ooooh ladies,
I had the bestest day yesterday... i went to the national wedding fair at the NEC. Saw lots of gorgeous ideas for flowers and favours and centre peices.
Annnndddd ... I think I have found "THE" dress!!! It's a satin fishtail gown with antique lace over lay ... it will be bespoke and made to measure .... and soooo soooo lovely!
Plus i bought a one off antique tiara to go with it!
Off to meet my soon to be brother in law today and Shane is going to ask him to be the best man ...
So exciting!

Its bespoke so won't be any pictures until the day! But i'll try and find something similar to give you a sneak preview! xxx

I'm going to go to the wedding fair at the NEC next year as my sister-in-law went to it last year and said it was amazing. She said she could've spent a fortune.
I've got the church and reception booked - not started looking at the dresses or anything else yet though!

Thank you girlies... i love it ... I am off at the wedding to check out a couple of other options before making my mind up, and to try the dress on with my new tiara to make sure they go.
As they have to get the lace in, so that they can make the dress for me, i am also going to ask if they can get some extra lace so that i can have pashminas made for the bridesmaids to wear!

Dress is so beautiful :) Very classic and chic. You will look stunning! When are you getting married? I'm a little behind with news at the moment. I got engaged on Feb 14th and we're hoping to get married next May (army permitting). I wish I lived nearer to a big city so I could go to one of the big wedding fayre's, sounds like you had a fab time.
The wedding is set for the 31st of July 2010. We have a georgian mansion to ourselves for the whole day so are doing the whole thing there, the ceremony, the wedding breakfast and a hog roast in the evening....
Congrats honey .... there are usually lots of smaller wedding fayres around, usually at local hotels xxxx
Oooh! I am all excited for you, sounds idyllic :) We are meeting the minister on March 28th!! He sounded like a right laugh on the phone NOT!! If it turns out that he has, infact, had a complete sense of humour removal then I will have to find another Church - oh joy. Pretty organised other than that. OH still has to ask permission for the date we want but he can't until he gets back to Germany on April 4th. Hey ho - plenty of time. I will check out local hotels for fayre's, thanks for the tip. Keep us posted on your plans Hun - I may be able to steal some ideas - lol ;)

They are the most beautiful candle centre peices... just something a little different i found ...
