Ahhh Big hugs hunni, your in the right place though, we'll help you out as much as possible. Once you get into a bit of a routine it will get easier hunni,
Lots of love and BIG hugs xxxx
Hey hun,
My OH goes to Afghan in Aug/Sept but there's lots of girls who have been through it and are going through it at the mo and will look after you.
Mine went to Falklands for 4 months last year and even though I knew he would be safe it was still a struggle the first couple of weeks but you get into a routine and somehow you start to cope.
Try to keep busy and it will get easier.
xx
Thank you so much, i am hoping like you say i will get soon in to a routine and get use to it, but it seems forever away. though with two boy's to keep me busy im sure i will be ok, its just nights that get you down.. its missing the touch and have been so use to text and phonecalls which i need to adjust to..thanks again. hannah

hiya hun, welcome to wags! My hubby goes out to Afghan sep/oct, it will be his 4th tour. The girls are right, the first few days are the worst but it does get easier and with ur two boys to keep you busy it will make it a lot easier. It is the evenings that are the worst after lil 'uns are in bed I found hardest, but thats when I would sit and write blueys etc....and came on this site loads!!!! It's amazing how quick the time goes and how addicted u get coming on here! xxx
Hi hunny welcome to wags. Sorry you're feeling a little blue. I cant tell you too much about tours as the only one ive experienced was when me and my oh were just gettin to know each other. time does help and hearing from him will have your heart racing =) hope you're ok hunny xxxx

Hi Vicky no, we live in aldershot, He is in bomb disposal for TA,thanks for message
hi ya, does anybody know how long roughly blueys take to get out to camp bastian and parcels?
it can take a few weeks before they arrive. depends on wat area they are in and things
Hey Hun
Welcome to WAGS. The first days of them going is always the hardest until you can settle into a routine and just take each day as it comes and break it down into small bits, so it doesn't seem so bad.
As for post... found that blueys and parcels would take exactly a week. Only once did my parcel take more than that. If he is at Bastion then he will get post regularly unlike those at an FOB which can mean post can take a couple of weeks.
Just focus on making him parcels and writing lovely Blueys!! Time will go quicker than you think

hi hun.... it does get better and easier...i'm just at the end of my OH being Afgan.... You will have ups and downs but just let them happen. Eblueys get there with in hours to theatre but then depends on where oh is. Blueys take about 10 days to get out there and parcels usually about a week!!
I used to write blueys like a diary every night which really helped and oh was really grateful for all 120 of them!!!
I found my week revolved around parcel buying, putting together and sending!!!
You;ll get through it!!
xx
Thank you very much for your reply's ref to the blueys and parcels. He is in camp bastian at the moment and his comfy box hasnt arrived so ive had to send another parcel with his other trainers in!!!. Im enjoying writing the blueys it makes me feel closer to him and that ive had a conversation with him...trouble is i dont like ending them..you girls are stars you know that..xx
