RAF and a nurse?

Hi all, just found this place, looks great :)

My lovely man is a Crewman in training, I'm so proud of him, nice to find somewhere to share the love of our servicemen!

Anyway, I'm training to be a nurse, and when I've finished I'm going to live with my boyfriend, but the likelihood is we'll be relocated every two years. Is anyone else a nurse and whats it like moving from post to post so often? My aim is to be a health visitor and I've heard they may employ civvy nurses on base... can anyone help me out with this?

Welcome to Wags - my OHs RAF too.

Am not a nurse though so can't help on that one but think theres a couple of girls who are studying to be nurses who should be able to help you out.

my OH is in the RAF too but im also not a nurse, i do know you can easily get a job on the base when your married to your oh, but you need to be married to live on base, if not, you cant, youll need to have your own flat or house if your living together, also is alot harder to get a job on the base if your not married,
