Morning Girls, I'm a newbie so I thought I'd introduce myself!
I live in Fallingbostel with my Hubby and son, my hubby is 1RRF and we're being posted to Tidworth in July :D I've been a WAG for 2 and hlaf years now and love it, well not the being apart bit obviously but hey I get by lol
I love living here but I will be so glad to get back to England hehe!
Are there any other WAGS on here that have partners in 1RRF?

I know they're away a lot etc but I've found that I've spent more time with him since we've been together than I ever did with my ex who was a civvie! I love the fact that everyone around you know what you're going through and can relate to it! And I've found that since being a wife I've made the best bunch of mates I could ever wish for! Not to mention the mess do's and other things that get put on!!

I haven't been a wag for very long my OH has been in Sandhurst since September and was in the TA prior to that! I am slowly adjusting to not having him around at all! I see him from time to time, the odd Saturday night and the odd leave weekend! I hope things will be easier when he commissions in August! How long have you been a wag?
When you put things like that it sounds awesome, i can't wait to experience the fun side of the army!

My hubby is RA and we live just up the road from Tidworth! I work on the army camps at Larkhill, Bulford and Tidworth xxxx
I've heard so many bad things about tidworth lol, like it's boring and nothing to do but to be honest there's nothing really to do over here lol! I'll be looking for jobs as soon as we've moved and settled in and got the house all nice and decorated hehe! Are there many jobs around?
Hannah- I've been a wag for two and half years now! It takes some adjusting but you get used to all the crap the army throw at you from time to time lol!! Also I think that the experience is what you make it, if you sit around and do nothing and don't try to mingle then you won't get anywhere! It's best to get yourself out there I'd say :D
I've only been here since August last year and to be honest it was a bit of a shock to the system when I first moved. It is in the middle of nowhere and not a lot in the local area but it is a beautiful part of the country, I just felt very isolated at first as I don't drive but as you say u have to get out there and do something about it so am in the process of doing my driving lessons, aiming to pass my test before hubby goes to Afghan later this year.
What sort of work will you be looking for? xxxx
hey hun welcome to wags. in a months time i'll be joining martz in larkhill so will only be down the road from ya too :D i've heard its a quiet area but we'll just have to make the most of it to be honest. we've been issued a house now which is good, just waiting for a date, think it'll be 27th june, so will probably move beginning of july, bout the same time as you maybe?? xx

Aw do u no what, it's so refreshing to hear u be so positive about it all and just come out and say i LOVE it! lol.
That's what's best about this sight, everyone stays positive and offers lots of support to each other.

all i know is that we've been given a house and thats it (well oh said house, so if it turns out to be a flat will be uber upset lol). will try to find out more when oh is home on sat :) oooh i cant wait heehee xxx

my oh is in afghan at the mo he said that there have been rumours of his reg goin to germany in a few years but there always is since 07 infact lol but if he did i think it would be exciting for us to go to germany

hey girls, sorry I haven't been on it's been a long a busy weekend getting ready to move etc! I think we're being too organised!!
PrincessAmberDee- I'm in fallingbostel at the moment, moving to Tidworth in July as the whole Regt are being posted back, so far we have our address (a house woohoo thank god) & march in date and pre-march out date but that's it so far! Just waiting on surveyors to tell us when our furniture etc is going :)
Martz- Not really sure what work I'll be looking for as my little one will be in pre-school so I won't really have long to be able to work and I don't want to pay out for child care cos I'll only be part time and it'll eat most of my pay up! Not sure exactly yet, hubs is trying to convince me not to work until he's in school full time! We will see though! I don't drive either so might be a bit of a nightmare. But at least it's a regt move so all my friends will be coming with me :D
