View Full Version : i'm think i'm forgetting something...
i have everything sorted and i have 29 days till the big day, but i still keep thinking 've forgotton something.
i know i need to order the cake, getting it from m&s for my mums friend to decorate, but only need to do that 21 days before. i need to get some gift bags to put the gifts in for the bridal party and table plan needs to be done but thats it. cant think of anything else i havent done. hmmmmmmmmm strange.
another thing is, am i supposed to be feeling nervous yet??? coz i dont at all. i seem to still think its never gonna be here lol. or do you think it'll hit me just before the big day?? i've really enjoyed planning it and think i'm gonna miss it all when its over with. i'll have to start up a business as a wedding planner i think lol xxx
We organised our wedding in 3 weeks (got our cake from m&s too!!!) and I was so caught up in everything, I don't think I actually realised I was getting married until I put my dress on. And then I cried and my mum cried and my sister and my best friend. Felt nervous all the way to registry office and even more when I saw everyone waiting outside for me!! Then saw OH and he gave me the biggest smile ever and then it was all ok again and just had the best day.
Don't worry, you won't have forgotten anything. I bet you've got a list!! Just stick to that. Just make sure you enjoy every second because it goes so quickly!!

im sure you wont have forgotten anything hun, I never felt nervous when we married just excited! Hubbi was well nervous cause the church was packed lol so you may not feel nervous at all!!
Just make sure you enjoy every minute of the day because it goes so quickly
I can't really suggest things you might have forgotten cos ours was so low key there was hardly anything to get lol
I didn't feel nervous until we was waiting in the registry office and about 20members of Marks family who i'd never met in my life piled in, then i had to run outside for a fag and throw up haha

hey hun, dnt worry everything will be fine!! i knw wot u mean though... i keep thinking have i forgotten anything?! its ideal actually cos my cousins getting married in London on Saturday so were all going over for the weekend tomorow so im going to use it as my check list to make sure ive thought of everything, as hers is a massive wedding (over 200 people going!! mines got 120) so anything that she hasnt thought of probably wnt be worth thinking of!!
Maybe we should start a wedding planning business together?! hehe! ive loved every minute of it. I don't feel nervous at all, just a bit anxious that ive forgotten anything.... the only part im nervous about it walking down the aisle cos im worried il trip or my dad will trip on my dress!!

I remember looking at courses a few years ago but thought it'd be really hard to get into.
Yay lots of wedding bells to come yet :D

haha i did the same. but i also thought it looked quite tricky. hmmmm might have a look today actually. do many people actually use wedding planners though???
i know it's so exciting. theres loads getting married atm. yay for weddings. :D xxx
Thats exactly what I thought, in all fairness I dont think people do, it all seems to be managed quite well with family and friends and I guess thats much cheaper than hiring someone. I reckon you'd have to be be a reaaaaally upmarket company to get clients etc.
But hey, who knows :P
Haha we'd be like the Trinny and Susannah of Weddings lmao!
