Just out of plain noseyness i was wondering what we all miss most about our OHs when they are away, whether they are on camp, excersize or tour we still miss the little things about them....
i miss cuddles and bath time lol

Definately miss the spoonage most!!! Find it really difficult to sleep without his arms wrapped round me :(
I also miss just being able to talk to him, whenever something exciting happens or if I'm feeling down I automatically reach for the phone to share it with him then remember he's not around.
Also miss the obvious though lol
Cant wait to have him home xxx
Oooh its so hard to pick one or two things! I miss everything! Mainly cuddles, texts at all times of day when we're not together, and going for walks

but one thing I do miss very much is his singing. He sings all the time when he's happy and has such a good voice:) he used to sing for me :o buuuuut he did have a funny little sing on the phone the other day which was nice but not the same. And I miss waking up and seeing him next to me, knowing I'm safe and he'll protect me.:o

I miss a hug when I am feeling low. I miss him annoying me and I miss his moaning to tidy up. I think I just miss him awwwwwwwwwwwww lol
i miss alot...i miss cuddles,kisses, his smile, our late night chats and fun fighting with him. i also miss just cuddling infront of the t.v and just getting in the car and going for long drives. i miss so many things i could make a very long list. i cant wait to have him home again, i miss him soooo much.
I've even started the miss the little things that annoy me like leaving the milk out after making a cup of tea lol. and him REALLY embaracing me in the street lol. I miss his uncaring attitude to what everyone else thinks lol. I think I'm going mad.....I JUST MISS HIM!

Awwwh I know lol soppy gits, just looked through some photos he sent me when we first met and welled up lol. Funny, all the nervous feelings came back from when I went to go meet him for our date lol.haha I'm so cheesy.Was the best night ever :)
Aww how cute. Gotta love the cheese I do :D I was looking through texts I have saved that he has sent the other night and my eyes filled up too. Bless shows we love them loads :)
I miss cleaning our teeth together before going to bed and fighting over the sink lol, i miss holding his hand at night, and the way he will be kissing me and if he is in a giggly mood he will blow a raspberry on my neck. Basically i miss being immature together lol, but then i do miss our serious moments, ooo its hard to choose.:o:rolleyes:

I TOTALLY agree with the smell!!!! My OH left some of his clothes at mine when he moved back up to camp, i put on one of his shirts the other day which still smells like his aftershave which i LOVE, but also has 'his' smell on it... completely caught me off guard and made me smile to myself!!!!!
I miss the way he smells and the way he touches me. Its silly cause i even miss the way he takes the mick out of me. Im miss his cuddles that make me feel safe at night and his kisses the most amazing kisses xx

Hearing the car pull up and the gate open and close on a Fri evening, when he gets home =(
Making him breakfast in bed =(
The suprise kisses or hands wrapped around me from behind when i'm doing something in the kitchen, just cos he 'missed' me =(

I miss the talking for hours on the phone and internet I miss the improptued calls just to say I love you and miss you. I miss talking about the future and planning our lifes together.
I sometimes feel that tour has put our relationship on hold, but know he still loves me and I love him and know that it will be fine when he gets back and that he has a job to do and is ubu busy. It just sucks when you go for weeks with no contact.
Its strange how a quick 2 min call / IM convo can make your day / week / month / year:D

I miss just getting in my mans car and just driving with the music on just holding his hand and looking in the mirror and seeing the smile on my face wen im with him. x
Well my other half only just gone so im missing absolutely everything..lol...but ill narrow it down to silly things like when he is on camp he used to send me a text every morning and a text before he went to sleep....i miss his smell and i 2 have kept some of his clothes which i wear to bed..lol

i read all of the emails hes ever sent letters wear his tshirts he even left me some of his aftershave so i put that on his tshirts when i miss him most and so josh can remember his daddy.
i just miss talking to him most off all i miss my best friend.

My OH has been away 3 weeks i have 15 to go :-( i miss everything, the texts throughout the day, being able to talk to him whenever i want. Of course the most is cuddles, kissies and having my best friend around me all the time! im lost without him he is my everything! and i miss the naughty things hehe!
it makes you relaise everything you miss when they are not here, i would give anything to just see his gorgeous face and touch him, i miss holding his hand and just laying in bed watching tv. :-(
my oh hasnt gone away yet buti think i will miss his smell, cuddles and him picking me up when i finish work late. oh and cuddles in bed! ;) lol
I definitely miss cuddles - woke up hugging the pillow this morning! I miss the way he always laughs at the most random stuff, usually something silly I've said or done... And I really miss how when we're sitting together watching TV or something he'll suddenly turn to me and kiss me and tell me he loves me... *sigh*

I miss OH altogether but mainly I miss waking up to him saying "Morning princess" and pulling me closer to him. N when my son comes into bed with us to watch a dvd n OH is tickling him and doing handstands with him (It just makes me insanely happy, their so ridiculously cute together).
I miss him watching Twilight with me! Whenever I'm ill or upset he makes me a hot chocolate, puts twilight on (though he hates it) and comes and cuddles and watches it with me.
I just miss how when he's with me the whole world disappears and I have no worries cos I know he'll have my back. Ahhh I'm gonna end up crying now thinking of all the little things I would love him to be here for. You know you have it bad when you actually wouldnt mind being cupcaked if you could just be in their arms lmao.

OMG this is an old thread!! I just read through it before replying only to find that I had replied over a year ago when oh was in afghan!
This time he's on course in Germany, which is miles better than tour but still... 12 weeks in and im missing him loads. Mainly cuddles and not being able to pick up the phone any time I want to talk to him. We live together now and I dont like rattling round this empty house :(

i miss lots of things - like having someone to snuggle in bed when its cold or cooking meals together etc. x
I miss everything about him, but the main thing is him coming in behind me when he comes to bed, then rolling over in the morning when he wakes up and rolls over and gives me a hug and kiss before he gets up. i have actually got a picture of me and him that sits on his pillow, ( sad i no ) but means he is the last thing i see at night and the first thing in the morning. Going to go the bear factory and get a bear in the army combats, just to keep his space warm when he isnt here :) its my way of keeping him with me every day
