View Full Version : Does anybody believe in clairevoyants and mediums???
When i first met my ex he told me he had lost his mum to cancer and he really opened up to me and told me stuff only his family knew. Now we have broken up and for a laugh with some mates we all went to see this guy who claims to be a clairevoyant and medium. He told me basically that me and the ex are destined to be together but not yet because we wasnt meant to meet for years yet but we met on a dating site so we went out our way to find someone. He also did his medium bit and was apparently talking to my exs mum and she said she couldnt imagine anybody better for her son and shes been watching over him and he misses me. The clairevoyant guy said stuff that he could never have known without being gifted but i find it hard to believe that we are meant to be together when all we do is argue. Does anybody believe in this stuff. I just dont want to get my hopes up

I have been to see one and he was great new loads of stuff about me he new i had 2 children a boy and a girl loads of stuff freaked me way out. went to see him in feb and he told me that me and my oh are meant to be together and that he makes me very happy. xx
iam not to wow over them hun i just think they are tricksters they say things tehy know that is goin to hit u and it could apply to anyone and jsut think its a rip off i would go to 1 for a giggle but would take it with a pinch of salt
i believe in all that kind of stuff, i went to a spirtualist church once with my friends mam and the stuff the man came out with was crazy. there were lots of people there too getting messages. he was talking to my friends mam about her uncle and he knew what colour her bedroom was! and she got a message off her uncle to sort the garden out coz it is a mess. wierd.
cant believe im saying this on here... but my step-dad is a spiritulist medium, so yey i believe!!

Im the biggest sceptic and I think i'd be a difficult person to convince so I would have to see it to believe it.
I always think it would be very generalised, like the stars, its bound to be of relevance to someone in the world.
Mind you from the stories I wouldnt mind going just to see.

The medium side of it told me stuff that was so precise that nobody but the people involved could know. My exs mum was ill with cancer and he was so young at the time all he cared about was playing on his mates play station because he didnt understand. And the guy knew all of this and said that his mum forgives him. Its stuff like that which make you believe. And my nana died 3 years ago and we had this on going joke that was just between us and when i asked him so tell me what it was he did. Weird eh? Some people do just do it because they think they can pull it off but some are really gifted
i really wanna go and see one now, my friends have been and they're convinced. i'd say its worth giving it a go and then once you've been u can make ur own mind up about it.
i also wanna go on another ghost hunt. i've always been a bit of a freak in this department. lol. i love all this stuff, even though it scares me. if anyone wants to know about the ghost hunts go onto www.frightnights.co.uk i wanna take ben coz he doesnt believe in all this stuff even though some freaky things have happened in my house while he's been there. xxx

You can't belive everything a 70 year old woman with tarot cards tells you but I think the people I see are very good. I've seen three people in the past 3 or 4 years and it gets wierd when they all tell you the same thing! Last time I went, she said 'who's in uniform my love?' Then she told me his name and some other stuff. You have to wonder where they get it from! Even stranger was that I had my palm read in Camden last weekend and he told me some of the same stuff she had said!!! From my palm!!!! How????!!! x

Oh my god it is bit weird like. I do believe in it all things like that cant just happen can they? they must have some natural gift. I believe it anyway I really do.
i totally believe in all this stuff. I went to see a clairvoyant when i was in the states for a while and she was awesome. She told me all things about my ex and secrets that i had as a kid with my gran that no-one else knew. she was good.
I also read tarot cards and am not to shabby at it if i do say so myself ;) xx
Yes and no. I read tarot, merlin and rune stones so unfortunetly i know thats its all done on body language, what people let slip and just being a good guesser/ actor. But I do believe there are people out there that have a highly developed sense that allows them to feel what has happened in places before
Body language??? Are you serious?! I don't believe that 45 minutes of tarot reading can be done on body language! What is the body language for 'man in uniform'?
i reckon that makes sense cos when someone is nervous or anxious you can always tell, and i bet 9 times out of 10 when someone sees a psychic they are worrying about their love life xxxx
yeah but they don't just talk about your love life..... my biggest worries have been about work decisions recently and that has been mostly what they have talked about. Maybe a little is picked up from how somebody behaves but most things I think it would be impossible to pick up.
im a bit of a sceptic to be honest so i believe that they zone in on the general worries that people have like money, family etc and make some general comments about them. but i have never been to see a psychic so am open to persuasion if i ever do see one :) xxx
They pick up on what is in your head, you're right. I think you need to be a little sceptical to keep a balanced view on it all and to save driving yourself to insanity! But I don't believe they can read things like names from your body language, they can tell if you are happy or sad of course but with a goood clairvoyant other stuff can be too detailed for it to be something they are reading from you. From my experiences, questions I have been asked have been specific, not general looking for things to feed off I mean. Prob worth noting that some are great and some are not so good! if you go, eso for the first time, it's best to go with a recomendation! x
