Was just wondering if you guys let your oh see the wedding dress before the wedding, I will be making mine and will prob be getting his opnions and he will see the desing but not the dress until the day :D

we had a miniture made of us to go on the cake and he opened the box so saw that so he kinda had an idea but its the real thing thats bad luck. Just have to have it hidden away.

My hubby didnt see the dress til the day, but it isnt bad luck LMAO!! If you want his opinions on it whilst your making it then do it, i know people who have seen their wives dresses before the day and nothing bad happened to them lol!

Nope never let my hubby see mine we went to great lengths too because we got married abroad. It's bad luck for a start!! That's what it's all about letting them see you on the day.

I personally think it's down to the inividual person.

For me I wouldn't, I'm traditional AND superstitious so although it might not be bad luck, I perceive it to be so wouldn't myself.

I would like the first time my oh sees it to be on the day itself and take his breath away but def think it's down to a persons preference

I wont be letting my oh see mine, not for the bad luck aspect but so that he gets a nice surprise on the day :) xxx

i wont be letting my oh see it but he sort of knows what style i liked.
my friend looked for her wedding dress with her husband! lol and they have a great marriage so no bad luck there so far...but i would be scared i jinxed it haha.
its up to you though hun, if you want him to have his opinion then ask him, he wont see the finished dress till you get married so he wont see the actual dress.

Thanks girls, yeh I'd love to have his opinion and as I said he'll only see a design (i usually end up altering bits anyway) lol want his opinion on colour ect as I think hes going to wear a white suit :D

well........... i didnt want my oh to see mine, but whilst at my dads one day he was playing a game on my phone then he went for a fag and i came out he was going through my pics and found a pic of the dress.

i was so angry but wasnt really his fault, he didnt know i had it on there, but at least i knew he liked the dress lol. xxx

Hopefully early next year, nothings been booked yet though:rolleyes:, sorting some stuff out on rnr :D
I know the sort of dress I want though. LOVE this and love the colour :)

Stuning isnt it :D. Yes I can make them, Just recently got the confidence to get myself a portfolio together and then I can start a business :)
