hi...and help!

HI everyone!
my names claire, im 23 and my fiance is a lcpl in 1RHA based in Tidworth. We've been together about 3 yrs now, but still live apart (sulk :( ) but only until he's reposted in may!
im SO glad i found this site, coz ive now got to face the biggie...coz the OH is currectly on reserves for afghan in october.:(
Its the 1st tour for us...not countin a 5 week stint in Kenya in march. an i have NO IDEA how im going to cope if he goes. I knw that for the mo he's only on reserves but still...its the not knowing and the sheer thought of him having to go. No1 i kno understands, they jus tell me it'l b fine an will fly by, but iv gota admit, iv already started losing sleep over it! so ne advice, words of wisdm, ANYTHIN!!!
part from that im hopin this site wil finaly mean iv got someone who can listen an undastand wen things get rough, summit i think only army wags can undastand! Like when they get 3 days notice that their jettin off to Germany for a JCLM course :p:p
You'd think after 3 yrs i'd b used to it !!!!!

so, thats me, hoping that this site will help me finally hav sum1 who gets how im feelin!

Is he off to kenya next year?? There is loads of people off to Afghan in September my Bloke (who were on a break at the mo) is off to Afghan in sep and im dreading it too..but the girls here are fab and amazing and support you through anything so you have nothing to worry about!!

totally agree, im already addicted and it been less than a month...lol..i love this site...it really has helped me and its nice to no im not the only one..although i feel like it...my other half left just over a week ago and i personally think i would have lost the plot if it werent for this site...lol

everyone here is so friendly and will always cheer u up and the threads on here can be so random that it gives u other things to think about...

if ur other half foes go away im sure u'll be just fine!!! were all here to help each other....xxxx

Lol, yep, was 2 weeks before i heard anything, he ended up having to get a kenyan phone, and i ended up with a £200 phone bill! worth it though :p

im pretty new to this site too and everyone has been so helpful its a great site, everyone is in the same boat and really understands, my oh has just been deployed wed just gone our first deployment and its so hard! it hasnt even been a week yet and its hell, we are so close and best friends so this is a nightmare.
