Aww honey big hugs. This site is ace and you will meet some fab friends through it. I have a little girl she is 2 and my oh is based in Germany so I do it all on my own too. You will get through it honestly. You will soon get into a rountine and gain independance once more.

Aw hun. Its gona be hard at first, especially as ur used to having him around. it does get better i promise (as much as i moan about it lol) you need to keep urself busy, i'm sure ur little one will keep you occupied. all the girls on here will have the best advice for you. its about adjusting and getting used to things.

i've just moved into MQ's after getting married in June and we had a month together before he had to go back to germany which was supposed to be for 2 weeks but has turned into 7. i'm finding it tough at times, so cant imagine how hard it must feel for you. try to be positive, set urself some goals to achieve while he's away and remember we all have good and bad days, thats what we're here for. i love being able to rant away on here, and the girlys always manage to cheer me up xxxx

Well we got married in April so that i could move with him when he is based somewhere, which i suppose is a good thing.

I admire you all on here, you must all be so strong.

I could just sit here and cry but Archie (little un) will shout at me lol as he does.

What i do need to know is all the regiments and the like lol so when he comes home he can tell me and i will know what he is on about haha.

Thanks girls for giving me such a warm welcome :D xx

Oh god I still dont have a clue what my oh is on about all the time but you do just tend to pick it up as you go along.

Honestly it will get better. Give yourself a week and you will be into a rountine and getting on with it just counting down till he is next home. When my oh goes I just cry for a day or two, I cant barely move my little girl just says dont cry mummy and I realise that I have to pick myself up and get on with it.

I have started a night class on a monday to keep my mind off things a little bit more. So I am not sitting moping when my little one has gone to bed. Is it possible for friends to come round? Make a night of it once a week.

Hey Hun Welcome to WAGS,

We are a friendly bunch and a few girls OH's have just gone through basic.

I have a little girl who is 14 months and my OH is in Germany so I also have to do it on my own, but then again it has always been that way as I met my OH when Megs was only a few months old.

Looking forward to getting to know you - You will be addicted before long :)

Hi Naomi,

Welcome to the site - hope we can help with any RAF questions!

You might not believe it right now but this separation thing does get easier, my oh has been in the falklands for 9 weeks now and although i still miss him like mad your life has to carry on without them. I am sure everyone on here will agree that the key is keeping yourself busy, it will stop you feeling so lonely and make the days go faster.
