As you guys know my oh is in Falklands at the mo and he gets back March time. I am planning a wedding for him getting back so we can be together in Germany. I realise how that sounds he does know about the wedding lol.
Well I want him in uniform, he doesnt because he says its just a job. But to me it is much more than that. After all it is such a big part of our lives. Thing is he doesnt have is it his number 2's??:confused: The navy and red. He would have to go back to Germany and get messured up and made for him but he wouldnt be able to get back :rolleyes:. Is there anyway that he can get it sorted in the Falklands so he can wear them for our wedding?:confused::confused:

i'm not sure about that hun, but the number 2's are the green ones, the number 1's are usually navy and red, does he have his mess dress??? my hubbi wore that and looked amazing xx
Nope he only has the green one's which to be honest I dont mind and would go better with how I want it all to look. I am going vinatage classic. Lots of dusky pinks and greens etc. But he doesnt want to wear that. I am just confused as to how it will all happen lol. So much to try and do in such short time.

aw hun, i managed to plan my wedding on my own while hubbi was in iraq and germany. sounds like a gorgeous theme you've got planned. good luck with all the planning. once you get into the swing of it, its not bad. i really enjoyed planning mine. xxxx
I think I am stressing bacause I havent told anyone either. As everyone knows none of my side get on with my oh. I have told one close friend and she is going to help me with things. I have found my church. I think I have found the reception venue. I have decided on colour and flowers already. I am going to handmake the womans favour gifts of scented felt flowers they look very pretty :) Using my colour theme. For decoration tea cups with fresh flowers in and tea lights. The cake I am thinking cupcakes with a top tier of of couse bride and solider. For the mens favours I am not too sure. I what it either Army themed or cars as its something very personal to my oh. I want to handmake then though. God I sound like a nutter just something I have thought about my whole life. Do you think the number 2's would be ok for a wedding? I think that it would go really well with the theme.
Also with oh not being in Germany and wont be until hopefully when we move together, who can I speak to about housing etc? can I do it? and what do I say? Could my oh do it from Falklands without using phone time?
Now some more fab news the church we wanted we cant have as we live just outside the village and both couldnt attend classes for 8 months. How stupid. No wonder people dont get married in Churches these days.

Me and OH get married next week - he's wearing his No. 2's as he didn't have enough time to get measured up for his No. 1's.... to be honest he looks really smart in No. 2's so I don't mind at all! Bet your proper excited now it's all really happening :o) xx
Yeah I had a totally panic last week felt really weird but now I am super happy. Just not having luck with a church. Yeah I think the number 2's will look really smart andI think he suits them much better. I couldnt imagine the number 1's on him hehe. Ooo its all becoming so real.

i got married to my oh phil in march :)
hopefully the 20th or 27th March. He finishes tour on the 9th but I dont want to make it the first weekend he is home. I want to enjoy that week and jsut show him a few things first, get him to help with anything last min lol.
