What are you having as your first dance?
We cant seem to agree on a song. According to my OH they are either too slow or too fast.

tell him they're meant to be slow! lol. long and slow so you can enjoy every second of it being man and wife and being in eachother arms properly for the first time as man and wife.
as long as its slushy, does it matter too much if its fast or slow?
any ideas so far?
i suggested to oh this years love by david grey, its such a lovely song its not to slow but not to fast but you can dance nice and slow to it.

Thats a lovely song. I like Wonderful tonight by Eric Clapton and I also really like Halo by Beyonce, dont think I would have that for first dance though maybe second (I am greedy lol) I also love the song off Beauty and the Beast
i have chosen mine, just cant remember the name of it or anything will find out tomorrow though cos it's on one of my dads CDs in his van

Now this is bad, i can't remember what we had as our first dance! i was a bit tipsy by then, but we had karaoke and hubby sang If tomorrow never comes to me, which i think has replaced our first dance! I couldn't stop crying and was so romantic! xx
we had jack johnson 'better when were together', its our song and it always makes me happy when i hear it. xx

I also love Halo lol! There's 1 line in it that I had as my msn status for most of the time he was away - "you're everything i need and more" the words are just gorgeous :)
So yeh, no idea wot first dance wil be but I want our second dance to be Jackie Wilson (your love keeps lifting me) Higher. It's our song but is clearly not 'first dance' material lol!!

Me and my oh have not onced danced together he hates dancing and refuses lol. I will be there on the dance floor on my own lol. I am glad you like the same songs as me and my oh is the same about Wonderful Tonight but sod him I will be the one loving it as he is hating dancing lol.

my oh is like that and he kept saying we're not having a first dance. we even had a few rows over it. but on our wedding day we danced to unchained melody, but the leanne rhymes version. he was actually really good, he's got some good moves. and that first dance was amazing. i think after a few drinks he was fine doing it. so i managed to get my perfect first dance. was one of the best moments in my life. xxx

It must be these REME soldiers. Lol. My OH hates dancing and refuses to whenever we are out. Think this is why he is finding it hard to choose a song. He is going to join me in our first dance. Phew!!!

I don't have a REME soldier, I have a Air corps one, and he's just as bad when it comes to dancing.

Told me to just pick whatever i wanted for our first dance, so i did, and then he turned around and said it was too soppy lol (like he suddenly has an interest :rolleyes: )
Anyway we've finally picked bon jovi - thank you for loving me (it was my second choice so not too miffed lol)
And i've got jack johnson - better off together for exiting the ceremony aswell, always puts a smile on my face!!

we are having heaven by warrent. Its a nice slow romantic metal song so it suits both our music taste and its lovely and slow! Plus it always makes me emotonal and think of the oh

Our song has always been "All my life - Kci & Jojo" But i dont know whether its slow enough for a first dance song so I think I might choose one of my favourite songs that not many people have heard of :D

Me and my OH have nevery danced together before and when he had our first dance together as a couple we were drunk and we cant remember the song and it was a really nice song!!!
