View Full Version : beach wedding
hey girls
was speakin to OH again the other night and our wedding cropped up in conversation again :D he is really set on makin it a really special thing for me and still loves the idea of takin me to the seychelles to tie the knot (he knows i've wanted to go there since i was a lil girl) but i have never been to a beach wedding abroad so was just wondering if anyone had had one or been to one and could give me any advice or info on what to expect and how they run?
No idea but it sounds like a gorgeous idea! :D I've had weddings on the brain lately, we're not engaged yet (he's busy saving for the rock lol) but today I just felt so like "argh!" that I started to give some serious consideration to his wish which is to elope
Good luck with all the research xx
My boss got married in Jamaica on the beach, he said it was only a small wedding because obviously not everyone can afford to fly halfway across the world for a weekend, but because of this it was a lot cheaper (fewer people to feed!). And from the photos it looked amazing and you're guaranteed good weather - as long as you don't go in monsoon season haha!
I guess if you don't fancy big and traditional then it's a great idea!

hey hun,
me & OH are gonna go abroad to tie the knot too! ;)
he's not actually proposed but asks me all the time!
so in convo the other day we have decided to do it next november time (if he hasnt got to go on tour ) if so it will wait till after.
ive never been to one, but a few people i know have done it abroad.
i think its pretty straight forward really, the tour operator should organise it all for you, down to flowers, photos, cake ect......
i think the only thing you have to do is get a licence. because i know sometimes they arent valid, depending on where you tie the knot.
oooohhhhhhhh when are you thinking about doing it?? :)

Awww wow I know we have spoke about this and I think go for it. Having someone else plan it to how you want it will make it easier and I have heard they a A LOT cheaper too. I think it would be very romantic.
