Hi Girlies,
Need to have a rant I hope you dont mind! Sorry its a long one
Basically we had our wedding date for 10th July next year. Before that we tried a few other dates that were earlier but due to my OH commitments with his Reg in Germany he couldnt do those. So we've basically had 4 dates. This final date 10th July seemed perfect! He spoke to his C/O ect and they were 100% that they do nothing over July, as it was so close to their annual summer leave period. We thought 'great' this will really work!
I am not the best at organisational skills, and with my OH being in Germany and me being at University in Reading, we could hardly get much sorted.
Finally I caught a break when the ppl I asked to do the the photo's, the food, the venue and the church said we could have that date, it was brilliant, the best feeling of relief that this was going to go so smoothly, no wedding planning stress for me!!
And then... my OH comes home this weekend to say, "sorry love cant get married on the 10th, Ive decided to go on a Tank training course in Canada for 6weeks" they are still waiting on the Canadians to confirm the dates of this training so I may still be in luck.
I CANT BELIEVE HIM!! I love him to pieces but sometimes, they make you wanna.... well. Obviously to say I was peeved would have been an understatement, because the plans were going SO WELL!!
Ive had to be all understanding because he does need to go, as he will be heading out to Afghan the following year. I know its not really his fault, but you cant shout at the ppl who organise it and decide to inconvenience us :p but can you see my i'm pretty cross like at the minute. Im lucky that I do have quite some time to rearrange it, but with me doing my Finals for Uni and Jim being in Germany, I dont see much organising happening :(
Plus I have the worry of moving out to a Germany again, getting the MQs sorted in time, and him being away most of the time once I get there. Ohhh dear :(
Has anything like this ever happened to you ladies, plan something and then it have to be changed do to 'unexpected circumstances' :confused:
