Bridesmaids

I think I have decided on who I want to be bridesmaids. I was just going to have my little girl as flower girl but I have realise I need at least a best woman. The girl I am going to ask to be best woman is really tall. She is 6ft 2". How do I go about getting her a dress? Also she is best woman for my other friend next week and she has bought her own dress. Can I do the same for my bridesmaids? I would feel bad and think I have to pay for it but once more we cant afford it. Arrrrgh help. I have found my dress for Amelie. It is just a party dress for next but I think it is just gorg and she will really suit the colour. http://www.next.co.uk/shopping/children/youngergirls/7/8 that dress and shrug. I would like the woman to be in the pink mainly with a little bit of the purple. But I am just lost now.

can you not do what you did with the little'n and get a going out dress for your bridesmaid, they do that on dont tell the bride all the time and they look like proper bridesmaid dresses, tell your friend am sure she will understand, maybe you could ask her to get the dress as a wedding preasent as it would really help you guys out.

I dont think she would mind one bit. Its just I would have three. I have looked at some but where do I shop for tall girls? At only 4ft 11" I have never had to do this before lol. I want them all matching too :rolleyes:. Which might be a little hard :(

ask your friends, they might know a good place for dresses as they will go places to shop for themselves.

i dont know any places my self as i am small too lol

Don't worry about asking your bridesmaid to pay for her dress, I've got 5 and they are all paying for their own dresses :)

Oh thats good then. I was wanting none now I want three :rolleyes: lol. Just typical me. I have no idea how to go about getting them all matching One is tall one is small and the other is average but well it sounds awful but I dont know whether she is plus size of not.

Yeah, don't worry about paying - bridesmaids are supposed to pay for their own dresses:

Kate (maid of honour) has said she would love to and asked about dresses perfect chance to say you pay.

I havent heard back from Rachel yet but I know she will say yes.

I have found a dress online for £40 but the only thing is Kate being tall :rolleyes: lol.

debenhams usually have really nice dresses you could use as bridesmaid dresses i dont think they're too expensive either.
