View Full Version : I am confused AGAIN :(

Well today I went to try on some more dresses. I fell in love with two. One is very princess and I love it for that but I dont think it would go with my vintage theme well and one of my sisters that come with me didnt like it. But that is only because she wouldnt go for it. The second well was absolutely stunning put didnt stick out at all and didnt have a train. I loved the fact no one would expect me to wear that one and the detailing was stunning. It would go perfect with my vintage theme. I am torn. I always wanted to look like a princess and to me that means the big dress but I love the other one. I just dont know if it very "wedding". I was so light and soft and easy to wear. What does it mean? Are neither one THE dress?? Arrrrgh

dont let yourself hang onto your past thoughts (always wanting to look like a princess) - now that youve started planning the wedding, this is the image you need to fit your dress into. vintage - and the dress sounds like its 50s style? simple, classic with lots of detailing. i think it sounds like the perfect dress for the wedding you have planned hun :)

You know when you are just so confused. The other one I felt like I was going to get married in it. The vintage one well I could wear again and for the 2100 price tag (which he would knock down to 1500) I would want to wear it again lol. I will try get some pictures. Online the vintage one wont look as good coz the models have no boobs where as I do so I filled it better. The princess one I will again find photos and I just felt like a princess. I feel like I am talking myself out of both :rolleyes:

Yeah thing is both of them felt right for different reasons.

i think that when i find the dress i want to get married in i will know straight away...maybe you questioning it is telling you neither of them are the right one?

Thats what I keep thinking but I dont know when I tried on the princess one I was like its the one. What I have always thought of. But the other wow I didnt wonna take that off either. I was just so shocked I liked it. I thought of sod it I will try summat different on. It would be the easier dress to wear and would look great with the day. I just dont know they both felt so right. I may have to go try the princess one on again just to see.

i like both hun, i'd personally go for the princess one myself, but that coz i wanted a princessy one for my wedding. i think you should go with whatever dress feels right. if you're not sure keep trying them on. after time 1 will stick out. i was debating between 2 and 1 just pipped it to the post coz nothing was as perfect as it x

i personally like the princess one more too. the vintage 1 isnt as i imagined.
was it not you that found a gorgeous dress, lots of lace a few months back? from memory, that would suit your vintage theme and be princess like :D

I tried a one similar to that lace one today and the style just didnt suit me. Thing is the vintage one looks horrible in that pic. It did look gorg on it really did. I felt gorg in it. It is just coz I have always though big dress. I am going to go try them both on again. Shame they are in different shops lol.

I had the same problem hun. I had two dresses to choose from and i didnt know which one to go for. So i went back again to the shop about a week later and tried them on again and see what happened. I fell in love with the first dress i tried on but i also liked another. After trying them on for the second time i decided which one to go for. The reason i picked my dress was because i lovedit the first time round and i kept going back to it and kept comparing the other dresses to it and because i cried when i was wearing it.I also had on a tiara and vail, and i had my hair kind of how i want it for the wedding and i looked stunning. That was how i knew that it was the one.

I went for the first dress that i tired on if anyone was interested. lol

I think the princess one is better. It looks amazing.

The second one looks awful on her. I must say it did make me look gorg it gave me the perfect figure. I have had a good think and although I love it, its just not how I pictured my dress and I think I would regret it. It would make a lovely dress for a ball or something. I am going to try on the princess one again though. I am going to try on others in other shops too though just to be sure. I did feel like a princess in it. I think what didnt help was that my sister is not princess and the first dress she didnt like because it was more me so she was putting me off and the other well that is very her and well I know that one isnt for me getting married now. I am feeling much happier. Ooooo I am just a stress lol.

Dont worry about it hun. it doesnt matter how many times to try the dress on or how many to try it, you just have to make sure you are getting the right dress, the one that is going to make you feel special on your big day!:)

I am going to try on as many as I can as I only plan on doing this once so I am making the most of it lol. I tried on the biggest dress ever just because I can lol. I though sod it here is my chance haha. It make me look really small with only being 4ft 11" but at least I tried it lol
