Hi there everyone :) Hope you're all doing well, looking forward to getting to know you and your stories so heres a summary of mine so far to get it started....
Me and my OH have been together since we were 15/16 (aww childhood sweethearts <3 ) I am now 20 so we are cracking on 5 years almost! Gosh! How time flies!
He's been in the army about 18 months and is now on his first tour in Afghan and we're already 1 month down, :) Oh and he's in the engineers. Me..? Wel I am at university in my second year and trying to put all my focus into my work atm to try and make the time go faster.
Anyway, thats all from me for now....

My OH is an engineer too - plumber by trade.

I'd probably have to bully him into fixing it though lol.
Since I've been with my OH, Engineers seem to be everywhere
I've never seemed to notice them before, now...
It's like a plague, we're being over run lol.
Ahwell, the more of them there is...
The more of them there are to do the jobs
SO, the more time ours get at home with any luck.

Hey welcome to the sitee xx Glad the tour is going well so far. My oh is away on tour in Falklands at the mo, he has been gone 6 weeks and wont be beck until Jan some time. I have my up and down moments. You will enjoy this site. All the girls support you throught tough and happy times.

My oh is in the paras and currently been in Afghan nearly 7 months, and due back in just over a month :)

hey hun wlcome to wags, you'll love it im sure, the site is fab and the girls are great.
i have OH at home at the moment but still pop on lots when he's at work and stuff cos so many people have made so many tours go so much quicker i'd like to think i give something back and im sure it'll be time for me to be alone again soon (the joys of army life eh?)
Sheryl, mines not back till February for RnR anyway (not sure exactly when..) we'll have similiar countdowns!
Ruth and Emma...lucky you!! Almost over for you two!! Has it been as long/bad as you thought? Already cant wait to be counting down weeks rather than months :)
