Hi, I am new on this and have finally managed to work out how to post a thread.
The reason why I am on here is my ex has rejoined the forces, we were together when he had some time out. But he rejoined after we split up.
Anyway the other day he got back in contact with me, I had always thought about him alot so was pleasantly surprised to hear from him.
Anyway we were talking all last week, now he has dissapeared again.
Hes in the Blackwatch so I know he is off coming home soon.
I went on the chat room last night and I spoke to someone and they said they were returning in Nov, have they left yet then?!!? As I havent heard from him in a couple of days, he was saying he had a couple of more things to do, so I suppose I am worrying about now.
Does that happen normally, you dont hear from them for a couple of days, then you do again!?!? Also is there a firm date of when they return/??!?

My oh hasent really been away on tour or anything like tht, accept wen he went on excersise and i didnt get to speak to him for bout 2 weeks!
He was in a field in the middle of nowere, lol.
So yeh it does happen hun, crappy aint it lol

Hi again Patty,
my mate was on msn after talking to you last night, he said they are due back on the 20th, but have decopression so will be back in the uk on the 24th :)
also it is very normall not to hear anything, theres not always means of contact, or they could be on day long patrols :)

Yep new to all of this, he contacted me in July then heard nothing, then he has been more in contact recently so thought he had lines of communication were always available.
He said he had to hand in all his kit Monday, so I presumed he was on his way home now.
Ha, ha.
But I knew he was busy, as he is a platoon sgt!!
Thanks for your help guys - I really appreciate it .................... lets see if he bothers to contact me again. Ha, ha.

Yeah we were............................. But we havent spoken for a very long time. Just thought it was weird when he contacted me.
Plus I am not 100 percent whether he is telling the truth about a couple of things - ha, ha.. but he was always a bit like that.
Thats why I doubt I will hear from him again, he said he was back and coming to see me 14th Nov!
Looks like he has done it again.

Yeah just sent him an email saying 'have you run away and joined the circus' then just said that I was proud of him for what he has done and achieved whilst in Afghan, that I cant imagine what he has been through and never will.
That it was good to talk to him again and that as per usual he acted like a perfect gent & that if he was ever in my area, then to look me up.
I feel sad actually and gutted. But that was always him, he probably just needed a moral boost while he was out there.
So he leaves my life again..............
But thank you for your support guys. You never know I may mail back tomorrow and say he has contacted me.
