Heyy Im engaged and im 18
my fiance is 21 and in his basic training
our families wernt brilliantly pleased because we are young, but they are still happy for us because they know its our decision and we are both really happy :)

im 19 and married, my oh is 22. my family thought we were too young but we know we've done the right thing. his family were over the moon!!
We may be young but we love each other so much, i wouldnt change anything for the world (sorry for being mushy lol)

I'm 20 nxt month and oh is 19 we got engaged last year 30th jan :)
Hes of to afgan middle of next year sort of lol, so were not planning anything yet till were both settle, fiancially (sp??)

No definatley not lol let him on here, he'll see that there is definatley some younger girls on here who are married/getting married. Im one of them lol

i am 21 n my gawjus fiance 20 and in basic training, we got engaged in january but been together 4 yr and got a 4mnth old baby girl. His parents dont really give a damn (coz there like that) but my family over the moon for us and tok him as part of the family lol :)
I think im the youngest then.
Im 18 but got engaged when i was 17 on the 4th November 2008!
So its been a year. Mine and his family were over the moon!
Havent set a date yet, until oh's 2nd tour next year, Were looking into gettin our own place though so yeah should be fun,

I'm 21 and not engaged (ok I'm single) but marriage and babies scares the s*** out of me, and did when I was madly blindly in love with the ex, I am so not mature enough, so fair play to you all taking the plunge, cos I way to selfish to settle down haha xx
helllloooooo, well technically im engaged, im 19 and have our son too (20 in december). When is ay technically he sat me down and said to me....so if i asked you to marry me what would you say and pulled out a ring....but he hasnt asked my dad as hes too scared bless him , even though they get on great.I think its because my dads a marine too xx
we went into town shopping for a carpet cleaner and happened to look in H Samuel. got round to the engagement rings n he just said 'do u want 1' so much for my romantic fairytale proposal!!!! was few weeks later we he actually asked me. After ordering the ring we left the shop n he said 'mind ur not getting a vax now!' hahahaha had 2 laugh bless him xxx

My family were very happy for me, as they knew i was mature enough and sensible enough to make the right choice about my life. I had already moved out of home so i wasnt still under mummys wing and all that.
Best choice i made and as the years pass our life gets even better!

I got engaged last month, 18 days b4 my 20th bday. The only person who said im too young was a customer i was serving once, but she was ranting about her divorce so was obviously bitter lol. :rolleyes: Both of our families are pleased for us, his family more i think, but my mum takes a while to get excited about things so when its closer to the time i think she'll be more into it. :)
I dont think age matters its about how u feel for one another, i know im gonna sound soppy too but the moment OH and I laid eyes on eachother we knew instantly we were ment to be together. :D If you know its right then it shouldnt matter about age.
i was 20 when i got engaged and i got married earlier this year (a few months after i turned 22). i dont think it's too young at all. it was right for us, now we're very happily married. hubbi is almost 27 though so a bit older than me.
some people thought it was too young but i didnt take any notice. we're happy, we know what we're doing and thats all that matters :D xx

well, in October 08 my other said to me would i like to get engaged before uni?, to which i answered "that would be perfect!" and spent all year and every special occassion waiting for him to pop the question. but i started uni in september and im stil not engaged :( lol, i think he bottled it because he was worried about us being to young (altho im 19 and he's 22). nevermind, maybe it will come soon..?
altho to be fair i did get a platinium diamand ring for my 19th birthday (imagine my excitement when he handed me this little wrapped up box!! lol) but he never asked the question. maybe he planned to, but got scared? oh well, just means i get to have another diamond ring in the future!! :D :D

Thats kind of a bit like me, my OH always says to me things like 'youll be coming with me' (when he gets a posting) and im like well you know what has to happen for me to be with you and hes like 'i know'
But after him saying this, it gets my hopes up and i dont want to incase it doesnt happen.. Coz now all i am thinking is what our life will be like if i do go with him (absolutley great) coz i will be with him more, rather than me being stuk at home. But what happens if he does get a posting and theres no proposal or anything... it will be quite destroying.... MEN lol x x x
I got engaged to my OH when i was 18 after 6 months of being together. Very quick I know but I knew it was right. He said he proposed because he wanted me to be more than just his gf when he became a soldier ( how sweet? :) )
We plan to have a official engagement party when he passes out in April 2010 and I have requested a big diamond ring this time lol ( he bought a promise ring for the first time )

im 19 and i got engaged on Halloween. my partner is 24 and is moving to Fallingbostle, Germany beg on feb so not going to see him for a while. we have set a date, 6th Aug 2010, and really cant wait to get married and then i can go and live in Germany with him! :). Its going to be hard not seeing him for such a long time but im going to make sure i fly out as much as i can!
does anyone live on the Fallingbostle base? i would really like to get an idea of what it is like? xxx

I got engaged when i was 19 and im due to be married in April. I only just turned 20 on the 16th of this month.
My parents still think im getting married too early!!
My parents despise the idea of me being engaged to my OH. They've never got on && so when i moved t his parents it didnt help.
I think they dont believe us that we are going to get married (14/02/11 hopefully *fingers crossed*)
His parents are really happy for us though.. think we'll be fantastic together - even though we aint been together long!

I got engaged on Valentines day 2008 so was just about to turn 19 when he proposed (2 years ago yesterday).
I'll be 21 next month and he's 23 this month. We have our fingers crossed that we can save in time to get married next year :)
Both families were over the moon, he asked my dad a few months before proposing (so chuffed at the traditional way he did it) and his parents said they'd be proud to have me as their daughter in law :D

I got engaged on 1 dec 2008 and I was 20, oh had just turned 22. We are getting married on April 3 and I cannot wait! Our family were over the moon, we got on well with each others parents and they are happy that we are happy!
I got engaged on the 3rd March 2008 :)
still engaged and expecting our first baby in August.
I have posted on here before saying that im engaged and now im married :)

I am 20 and we are engaged, due to get married next July. I was 19 when we got engaged, my mum was not happy at first as she got married at 19 and divorced at 23. But now she is excited and getting into the wedding plans!
My OH doesn't have any parents, his mum passed away recently and he never met his dad. But his grandparents are lovely and his gran always used to joke and say "When are you going to propose to her?" Hehe x

I am 19 and engaged. me and my oh ot engaged when we moved into our flat in Falkirk as he was part of Edinburgh sib now he is transferring to eod and is up in Inverness until a place opens up or his training in england. I am left in Falkirk on my own now :( we are getting married probably after his first tour in the eod which is probably 3 years away
