I have been 'lurking' on here for a couple of weeks now and thought i'd say hello as you all seem like a friendly bunch!

I'm Bex and i'm from Manchester, my fiance is currently away in Afghan, he's been there for 1 month now, only 5 more to go :rolleyes: finding it tough at times so glad I found this site with girls who know what it's like!

Hello Everyone
I'm another newbie and thought I would say hello, so helloo!
Been seeing my lovely soldier for only 5 months and he went to Afghan last week. :( Despite trying to keep busy and be brave, I'm really struggling. I'm a teacher and love my job but it's so hard at the mo. Does anyone know if I should start feeling a bit better soon? :cool:
