hey a few of my firends or well people i know have got married recently and the brides dress has been the same colour as the bridemaids, to me thats a little weird.

has anyone else come across before and think its weird or just me?

Well id have a colour scheme and would want the bridesmaid dresses to be with that, if tht make sense...not the same colour as my dress would be white.

i completely agree with you, its like some1 i went to school with just got married to and her bridesmaid (well looked like it) was wearing the same style as the bride and same colour, i wanna be selfish and look gorgeous and unique dnt want a copy cat on my big day!! lol xxx

we had ours tie is with our colour scheme, but i deffo wouldnt have had them matching me. i wanted to be the only one it the big white dress. :D Xxx

was this their first marrige coz could understand if was a seccond time round and wanting something diff. think i want to have some flowers in my bouque (cnt spell) the same colour as the bridesmaids dresses but im goin for white or ivory (not that im engaged or even close for that matter lol) xxxxxxxx

Id defo have a colour scheme, but i wouldnt have it matching the colour of my dress.
Ive got my colour scheme already.. but lets hope i get to use it one day lol x x x

first wedding! oh no i completely agree with a scheme (sorry if i didnt explain that it was more of a rant lol) i just think its weird having the same colour!! glad im not weird then haha xx

i wanted to have a colour scheme at our wedding (was gonna have the 2 girls in cerise/orange two-tone dresses. sounds gross but is really nice ;)), but because OH is wearing his no.2's its very difficult (i dont want them in navy blue because were going to cyprus to do it and wanted it to be bright, if that makes sense!!:rolleyes:)
so am going for simple white dresses with a navy blue sash/bow!
hopefully that will look ok, but they deffo wont be the same style as mine! :D:p

I didnt have a big wedding with lots of bridesmaids but definatey wouldnt have had them in the same colour/style dresses as me, seems a bit odd to me! xx
