(I know this should probably be on the Christmas Grotto but seeing as most of us girls are on General most of the time)
So what coloud are your tree/christmas decorations?
Last year we had pink, white & silver (which i still have as a change) but this year we are having gold, bronze, cream with a hint of blue (as it matches the wallpaper haha)
I don't do ceiling decorations or walls one cos i don't like clutter (no offence to anyone who does i just feel they over take my teeny living room lol making it look cluttered and more like the Royle Family's house)
I really do want to change mine this year though to black, silver and a touch of blue or pink! but OH says NO! :(

ooooo, I don't know what colour ours are yet, we haven't got any as it's a new house and all the decs I have came from when I lived with ex!
We will probs go similar, bronze/cream/gold as the living room is brown (well, the accent colour is brown, the actual walls and carpet are bog standard MOD magnolia/beige!!). So excited to go and buy and them!!
I agree with you about ceiling decs :) Living room too small for them!

we have black tree (wasnt sure of it but saw someones up, and its rather nice) and we have silver everything for it and little bits of pink for Mya's 1st xmas :D I dont do ceiling decs either my sis does but she has large living and dining room combined.

Mine are the golds greens reds browns. I bought these baubles from house of fraser last year and they are to die for. My fairy (the one for the tree you dirty girls :p) it amazing cost me enough too. I have handmade crafts there stars, I have them handing from the curtain rail in the middle looks pretty. I also have angels that are gorg too to hang on the walls cant describe that very well but its all very pretty. Dunno where I am putting my tree in my new house and it HAS to be a real one. Wouldnt be christmas without a real tree. My mum n dad always got a real one but last year descided just to buy a fake one I wasnt happy didnt feel like christmas when I went round :rolleyes: lol

Why two? Are they in different rooms?
ones in the lounge and ones in the conservatory (sp?) we use to only have one but when my rents moved we now have two! plus one in the conservatory is left up for mums bday in start of jan! plus xmas is bit in out house!!!! xxx

Lol 2 trees!! wow i barely have enough room for my one haha.
A couple who are friends of the family and very well to do! (he's and ex policeman who was very high up and she has her own business) they have a bungalow in a posh area near here and they have 8ft trees in their living room and their conservatory! then she decorates the bathroom too! pmsl its old vintage style decorations though very expensive and much like santa's grotto! the kids love it she then has like mini half trees on the walls which look pretty. All her baubles are from harrods and maceys!! but they have the money i wish i did :(.
She starts putting them up in Oct!!! cos it takes that long god only knows how long it takes for to get them down!

I'm happy with my lil tree although its fake hehe (sorry Sheryl but i hate the pins off real ones haha)

i think are house tends to be vert christmasy cause my dads a vicar, so its kinda to keep up apperances too! but they do it in a very classy way :) xxx

going home for xmas, so theres no point! and plus will be more things to pack up for march out. i feel like a scroodge :(
Well I have Red and Gold, but really not sure I Am going to put it this year as I have Megan and scared she will pull it over when I am not looking lol..... I also have theses Gel words and shapes for the window
Well we dont have a tree or any decs yet as only moved here recently, so gives me an excuse to go out and buy all new stuff!!! But I am not sure what theme to do this year??? I would prob usually go for traditional red and gold, but after hearing about all the blues, pinks, silvers and blacks, its tempting to do something different. Not sure if it will go in our living room though as the colours are beige/cream and curtains have green and orangey-red colours in them, hmmmmm??? Might go out and have a look tomorrow.
Also looking for xmas stockings for me and OH - and ideas of good places to get nice ones?

wanted new-new's for this year, but am gonna get them in the jan sales ready for our new house next year :D:D

Not really going to be home all that much but I HAVE to have a real tree, for the past 2 Xmas's we've had pink and silver, however this year I'm taking those to work to decorate my desk!
As I fancied some new ones and have seen some lovely decs in Focus (lol), bronze tinsel, chocolate brown and gold baubles and something else along those lines (can't remember the colour) I'm so excited!!

we got ours on saturday, we got a fake tree coz its just easier lol. but we've got red black and gold decs. we put it up on sat coz hubbi's on ex this week and we've got mess do's at the weekend so we wont have time so we did it on saturday lol. looks really pretty, i like red and gold coz they're really xmassy colours. :) xx
