best man trouble

arrrrgh I just asked oh who is best man is so I can sort suit etc and he told me he hasnt asked him but is going to ask the one of his mates I hate. Who also hates me. Thats the only reason I dont like him because he has such a huge problem with me for no reason. I havetried my best to me nice to him and every time he throws it in my face. How the hell do I seriously sort a suit out with him when he refuses to even look at me!?! I really hope he says no. I dont even really want him at the wedding aarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!

Have u explained this to ur oh chick, just compramise (sp) like, let him be at wedding but say u would prefer someone else to be his best man. I know its the bit of the wedding he gets to choose but the last thing you want is an atmosphere on ur big day :)xxx

I can't completely understand by I can empathise...

My OH's mate has just always been rude to me because he is only interested in "girls who look like they stepped off the cover of Zoo or Nuts" and my OH has decided to make him my contact whilst he is away!!! I've texted him once to ask about something for my OH and he just never replied!!!

I'd die if he wanted him to be best man!

But just as an after thought... have you seen Love Actually??? Maybe he can't look at you because he has a major crush on you!!!

Hahaha I wish it was that easy as just a crush. What it is is him and my oh were the only single ones left and now well its just him. He cant talk to women at all. Oh even just talking about him is making me mad. I am DREADING all this if he says yes. Also I picked his sis for bridesmaid because he made me. I am not having dresses for them that I want because they dont suit her. I am just not happy at all :mad:

My advice (for what it's worth) is don't worry yourself too much about these things.

I was full of it all when I got married and I stressed over every little detail forgetting that really, it is only one day and what really matters is that you and the man that you love will be married for the rest of your lives.

In 25 years, when you've got beautiful grandchildren around you both, you probably won't care what the bridesmaids wore or who the best man was!
