View Full Version : Christmas Eve/ Day plans?
Eve: All my family go to my grandads every year its a tradition haha :P and we watch telly and have food and drink etc. we all live in same street.
Day: Get up and open my presents from my mum, then visit relatives, then have dinner then alex comes down. I love it cos i get his presents in the afternoon!! More haha:p Then on xmas nite i always stay at alex's and we watch a film or go on a console that some one gets!! Nice :P and oo get druuk haha
Ooh! Crimbo Eve I'll be meeting up with an old friend in town for a big mug of hot choccie and knowing me, get some more presents!
Then on the evening I'll just be having a big bubble bath getting into my PJ's and watching Christmas films.
Crimbo day I'll get up about 8am, sit around in my PJ's with my parents and have a posh brekkie of bagels, champagne, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. We spend ages opening our pressies - we open a couple then have a brew, then open a few more. We always have christmas songs on in the background :)
Then we'll get spruced up and go out to the pub for our Christmas dinner. Get back at about 4pm, have a little sleep and then get re-spruced up to go to Kevs house :D my parents are quite boring so they'll go to sleep early, but Kevs family are mental so we'll be drinking loads and probably having a little buffet and watchin Christmas tv. HEAVEN!

Xmas Eve - either go to the pub with OHs family or with friends - dont know what were doing for definite yet this year
Xmas day - open prezzies at home, go to the pub with my mum and OHs family, have xmas dinner at my aunties house and OH have dinner with his family. Then after hes eaten he comes round to my aunties for a bit, then we either go pub AGAIN !! haha or sit in and watch xmas films - again im not sure for definiete what were doing xmas day night x x x x

Xmas eve - working until lunchtime grrrrrrrr grrrrrrrrrrrr GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, then me and the soldier will prob go down our local have a few festive drinks, come back watch an xmas film and snuggle :)
Xmas day - Wake up to my soldier WOOO cos last year he was in afghan and it will be our first year living together so looking foward to opening pressies in bed, then we'll get ready to go round my parents and spend the day with them my bro, sis in law, nephew brand spanking new niece, cant waiitttt!
Xmas eve will be steak for dinner (duno why but we always have steak xmas eve lol) and like you Suzie I'll be having a bubble bath and watching xmas films, James will probs be round but he's not staying that night.
Xmas morning with family, opening presents then mum cooks dinner. Have a nap in the afternoon (i still get all excited and wake up too early hehe) James will be round and we'll have left over turkey rolls, i prefer that to the meal itself :D xxx

Well, on christmas eve I am working till lunch - which is poo!!:mad: Cause my fella will be on leave waiting for me to come home. Then in the afternoon when I get home from work, I'm going to make some mulled wine and mince pies with him. Prep the veg for our christmas dinner. Then snuggle up on the sofa with a drink and start the christmas celebrations watching telly or a christmas film.
Christmas morning, I will wake up early and we will open our presents together and start our christmas lunch together aswell. Then later on in the day we will go down to his parents to spend the rest of christmas day with them.
Just can't wait, as I have mentioned before this is our first proper christmas together as my fella was in Afgan last year at christmas, so he has worked the last two christmasses aswell. Plus we moved in together this year aswell, so it is even more special and cosy!! Soooo excited!!!!

Well for me its hot bubbly bath then slip into my new pj's and slippers (which are always wrapped up ready for us to open xmas eve), then me and oh will go to my mams and have a chinese.....yes in my pj's (only live 3min drive away), go to bed early coz i think the earlier in bed the sooner time to get up haha iam such a child. X mas morning we will get up at stupid o clock, thanks to oh being over excited, he had me up and 4.30 last year, this year we got Mya so dreading what time he will drag us up!!! Open all our pressies and Mya's (she got mountains of stuff ) then luch at his nana's...then sleep!!!
Then all over again on boxing day and sunday as we start visiting and getting more presents from dad and his side :)

Well my sis and her boyfriend are comeing to stay with us for xmas day which i love. OH will spend xmas morning and day at home with his family then come to mine at nite :)
Then we will be going to Scotland for 2days to visit my family i really cant wait...

It's mine and hubby's first Christmas together, so we are being selfish and having it on our own at home. Makes it easier that my parents live in Hong Kong so can't see them really :rolleyes:
Eve:
Going to a friend's house for a couple of drinks then back home and go to one of the locals for a few more...maybe, the local pubs really aren;t that nice here!!
Day:
Get up late, take ages to open pressies as we will only have each others to open!! SO one at a time with a drink in between?!?! Basically, spend the day eating and drinking, bucks fizz, champagne ****tails, mulled wine etc etc. M&S nibbles and christmas dinner stuff. Can't wait! Will just be nice to wake up together like Faye said, he was here last Christmas, but I didn't see him til late in the eve as he was doing all his visiting as he was off to Afgha on the 27th!
I'm really excited, but we've been getting on each other's nerves the last few days so I hope that once I'm off work and can relax that will go!!

Xmas eve - Watch xmas movies and pig out
Xmas day - Get up, have brekkie, then open pressies with our son. The at lunch time, we're off to the cookhouse with our neighbours and other friends for xmas dinner!
