We finally have snow :D
I am so happy. It started a little bit last night but I really thought oh it will be gone by tomorrow but no, its still here :D yay. I cant believe it lol. I think it may just be around to stay too.
My only concern is driving :rolleyes: I just seen a man trying to drive his car and it was skidding everywhere. I have never driven in snow before. Dont think I really want to. Today isnt a must but ideally need it for tonight. Tomorrow will be though I have Amelie to take to nursery and back etc. How do I drive in the snow? Totally unprepared for that here coz we never get any lol.
Keep your car at low revs, slow down using the gears and engine rather than brakes and leave a huuuuuuge distance between you and the car infront. You'll be fine, just take it slowly.
I'm stuck at home today, live on a new housing estate and apparently the council haven't adopted it so won't come and grit even though dozens of people have complained saying we're stuck. There are loads of cars just abandoned outside coz the snow has been driven on, become all compacted and now has frozen. its a proper skating rink.
Its just started snowing again too, hope I can get to work tomorrow :rolleyes:
I'm so jealous Sheryl, we haven't had any snow at all here in Oxford - none at all! Rubbish cos I love it. Plenty of ice though, and lots of snow where I work in Buckinghamshire so getting into work Thurs and Fri was a bit scary... Slid on black ice from a side road into the main road :eek: Thank god nothing was coming the other way or it would have been pretty nasty, it scared the cr*p out of me! Claire is right with her advice, just go MEGA slow, and leave tons of distance, and when you're coming to a junction break miles before you think you need to. Hope all of you who have snow are enjoying it and that it's not too much of hassle!

but yeh its snowing here aswell, oh likes too do skids in his car on my street when theres no cars about, i hope he gets a bump tbh hes too ****y!!! :rolleyes:

the snow can stay away, its been blizzards here for the past 4 days :( id be happy if i wasnt due to fly next sunday lol

And other Kirsty lol I hope it calms down so you can still get away.
I am really dreading going out up my road the few cars that are on here have all had such a struggle up the hill because no gritters come down this way. When I am onto the main road and the motorway I should be ok. I am just dreading if there is black ice.
