I love this recipe! It's easy and really lovely. Keep it in the fridge once you've made it, and serve straight from the fridge otherwise it melts! I use more raisins and glace cherries than the recipe says 'cos I love them.
4 oz butter
2 tblsp golden syrup
1 tblsp cocoa powder
8 oz Digestive biscuits
¾ cup raisins
12 glace cherries
8 oz plain chocolate
Melt butter, golden syrup and cocoa powder in a saucepan.
Break the biscuits into a bowl, add raisins, and cherries. Pour on the hot mixture and stir until well mixed.
Place in a greased container (or one covered in non-stick paper / baking parchment) and spread it out evenly.
Melt the chocolate and spread evenly over mixture. Refrigerate.
Eat! :D
