my step brothers GF!!! she is driving me insane.

Since she found out we are getting married shes done my head in!, she has it in her head that she and my step bro are also getting married only hers will apparently be July 2011! the thing is i know and my step mum knows that my brother will never marry her, and the fact they just don't have the money and are in serious debt.

She drove me mad when i got engaged saying my ring was nice but that it couldn't be anywhere near as expensive as hers (which is bloody awful btw!)
Now shes just been on fb chat this morning and she asked how things were coming along so i nicely said im off to see 3 potential venues tomorrow to which she replied "Yeah us too, we are looking at the rugby club and the old brewery" both of which are venues im visiting tomorrow and she actually overhead me talking about these places to my step mum last saturday!!!

Why is she doing this! she also thinks they've been invited but they haven't cos i don't actually like either of them!!! the only person going is my half brother, my step mum isnt going either cos her and my dad have split up

Yep, I think Emma is right.

I think the best way to deal with it is to just remember that you are marrying your man in the way you want to, not like her trying to out do someone else. She's not worth causing any aggro. I find with poeple like this, you get the most satisfaction from smiling and remembering how much better off you are than her! :D

Sounds like she is one big green eyed monster there hun.

From what you said I wouldn't take what she says too seriously, let her think she's taking the glory then revel in it when you hand the invites out and she don't get one!

She is just getting really tedious now!. My step mum hates her anyway lol and she asked my step mum for her sons hand in marriage WTF!!! :confused:

Oh i am sooooooooooo tempted to invite her along to my venue viewings tomorrow and keep saying in front of the wedding co-ordinator about her 'getting married' haha

she sounds a bit mad and obsessed!!! i wouldnt let too much slip to her about your wedding plans, as you might have her end up having a copy-cat wedding of yours! But yeah she obviously sounds jealous!

Good luck with all the wedding plans, its so stressfull but exciting at the same time isnt it.

You know what Rachel i have no idea to be honest. She is VERY wierd! she has spouted so much verbal dihorrea over the past 2 years since they met i'm suprised shes still a size 24!
