Hey girlies,
Hope your all ok, Iv not been on in a while with xmas and what not.

My OH passes out in 4 weeks!! Hurrah!! Just wondering what sort of outfit I should get? Is it smart/casual or all out smart?
What did all you lovely ladies wear/ or plan to wear??

woohooo congrats about ur oh passing out soon yay.

i've not been to hubbi's coz he was in the army way before i came along lol. although it has been mentioned on here a few times. i think people tend to go for smart casual. a dress with tights and boots would be my option. it might be quite cold so try to wrap up warm.

Ooooh yay! Mine passes out in 3 if he doesn't get reflighted :D

i've googled this to death and spoken to other wags and mums and come to the following conclusion:

- smart but not formal
- no cleavage
- if dress/skirt, below the knee
- cover shoulders up
- remember you're there to represent him

so i'll likely end up with some nice trousers, nice top with a chunky belt and some comfy boots :D

Never went to hubbys as that was years belong i met him lol but when i went to my bros i wore a shirt dress with belt, boots and shrug..there was some women in proper full on evening dresses, they just looked stupid..especially since it was September and freezing lol

Thanks for your ideas girlies. At the moment im thinking skinny jeans, smart nice top and either heels or boots ( oh and a coat of corse) I'm unsure wether to wear heels or flatties, will i be doing much walking do you think?

Gosh i remember this day sooo well.
I had black skinny jeans on with a lemon coloured vest top on with my hair curly and little flat dolly shoes :)
It was a really hot day, there were girls there tho big big fancy dresses on lol bit over the top.x.

lmao i went 2 my OHs and i wore high waisted black smart trousers and a blouse, i wanted to be smart casual!! thats the best way although it was sooooo funny because it was absolutely freezing and this group of girls turned up spray tanned orange with their hair extentions beehived on top of their heads and they were wearin stilettos and revealing glitzy dresses, one of the lads asked if there was a drag queen compitition goin on lmao xxxx

i just wore black trousers and a smart top, that seemed to be the general thing on the day although some people did turn up in jeans!

it was sooo cold when my oh passed out. i wore black skinny jeans, heeled boots, white top, black cardi and a black coat!

you'll be outside a while...they talk for ages lol...so wrap up!

its a great day though, a very proud day!! have fun :D

I remember my OH passing out parade. It was really cold so you need to wear something warm. I went with smart. Black trousers a shirt and a jumper and a pair of heels. I dont think i ever took my coat off because it was that cold! I wish i took my scafe! lol
