I'm all new to this,
My OH has been away in basic trainin 4 a week now n i'm still all over the place, How do you cope with them bin away for so long?
I still dunno were 2 start, our little boy keeps me going !!!

hi louise, welcome 2 wags! my oh is on basic aswell hes been gone 19 weeks now :( i have a little boy aswell they certainly do keep u going :) its really hard the 1st few weeks but u do learn 2 adjust its still hard but u do get used 2 it xxx

its gonna take a while to get used ot things and he has only been gone a week so its understandable your gonna be low etc.. But u will soon get used to it and set up your routine for u and ur boy and things will seem so much easier...i found havong my daughetr here when oh was away made it so much easier as i was never ever alone....sad innit.. ha ha.. lol

Hi hun welcome to wags :D
My OH is in basic training at the moment he has been there for 14 weeks but baring in mind he got backsquadded so he got put back near the start again :( It is hard the first few weeks, i was lost lol but then after a while you get into a routine and although you dont really get used to it you do get on with things and it does get that lil bit easier.
Youve got your son to keep you busy and keep you going which is a good thing, keep strong hun !!
What reg is your OH and wheres he based ?? x x x x

My other half has been away for a week now, I'm guessing yours went away on the 31st Jan.
Tom's in Raleigh too.
Honey I'm not coping too well, yesterday I broke down in floods of tears (unfortunately on the phone to him) but we can get through this, the weekdays are nice and busy with work etc etc but when the weekends hit that's when I feel it.
We can count together sweetie.
Keep your chin up high and focus all you attention on you little one.
If you ever need me shout, if you want to cry and moan all the girls on here are great.
keep smiling and think of his home coming (thats what's keeping me strong)

You will be okay once u get urself into a routine with him, u will find strength from somewere. My Oh's been in Afghan for a week now and i feel better than i did this time last week.x.

Ha Ha thats so funny.
I was on the phone last night and got him to shout if anyone has a girlfriend called Louise from Newcastle and they have a baby boy ha ha.
Tom and I dont have kids, we have just moved in together so it was a culture shock when he wasnt there.
It's nice to have someone to count down with, yeah I'll be there in April probably crying lol!!
We can get through this together honey!!!
