I was planning on making my own pocketfold invites to send them out and was going to make personalised ones for the bridesmaids and page boys and the like, thought i had found a really good deal, i got 53 cardboard cuts for £45 and tehn a load of toppers and stuff from ebay for a fraction..... but when they arrived there were no inserts or invites as the website had led me to believe, also it took 10 days for teh card to get here!!!!
Send an email about this to the supplier and they have basically insinuated that im stupid and couldnt use or understand the website properly and if they are returned within 7 days they will refund but will have a 25% handling fee!
this surely cannot be right, i am so angry we just want our bloody money back!
ive sent them back today, but have now seen some personalised ones on ebay and they do teh printing and everything and we love them... but until we get the money back for these we cant get them..... as if planning a wedding isnt stressful enough without people like this messing with us!

Thats pants hun!!! Some companies are like that though, they prey on people and rip them off something chronic, those invites have probably been ordered and returned by 10 more couples before you, and they've more than made their money back!!! pppfffffttttt!! I'd have shouted....lots!

Hey hun I would check your rights 25% handling fee is rediculus!!! I'm not sure they can get away with it unless you signed something to accept the terms and conditions...
well i emailed them the day that i got them and thats when they replied insinuating that i was stupid and telling me about the fee
so i responded to this one as calm as i could advising i would be returning and they can either refund the full value of the invites minus the postage or i would contact the cunsumer direct council and quoted the sale of goods act, hadnt heard anything by lunchtime so i then forwarded that one with yet another email querying why i hadnt had a response when they were so quick to respond to my previous one and they have now said once received they will refund the full value of the order and apologise for all the misunderstanding..... i think one of their employees got thier heads stuck up their arse about something and thats why i had such an unfavourable response!!!
but at least we are getting the money back!!!

I think some people think they can get away with what they want and when you actually look into it further and throw a load of legal stuff at them they cant be arsed so give you what they want - Go you :D

well i used to work in a head office complaints department so i know how to complain pretty well lol.... ( as james will probably tell you ;))
haha yeah I am pretty good too however I am only good at complaining about the state of the road as thats what I used to deal with lol...
funnily enough same here, i used to work for the national traffic control centre in the control room so im always ranting on about this or that when it comes to the motorways and things lol

I am terrble if I see something on the road or a pot hole I get to where I am going and call the 0845 number and like right M3, s/b 600 yards before J11 m/p 51/103 I am sooooo sad lol....
ha ha love it, whenever we go anywhere and OH gets bored he starts asking me questions about the amprs and stuff.... i feel like such a geek lol
