Hello girls!
I am French and my laddie is in Afghan for the moment (1 Scots).
It has been fine the first 13 weeks but now I feel depressed!! It 's like it is never gonna end...
That's why I am here! To spend my evenings talking to you about how fun life can be ! By the way I just bought some Irregular Choice shoes on the internet to cheer me up a bit !!!!
I am 23 and love going out and meet new people...And I love the UK too!!

Aye !! I spent a year in Scotland, I was a French assistant in High Schools. But now I am back to France for my studies.
I also spent a year in Northern Ireland (as an au pair!).
Where do you come from Red ?
me...i stay currently in scotland...when im not in scotland im in jersey so fly to france a fair bit from jersey.

you'll find there are alot of girls on here who have friends that think a place like this site is pointless, butt hey wont understand actually how hard it is to be with someone in the armed forces, so this site is wonderfull to ask questions and somewhere where people know how you are feeling etc. One of the hardest jobs is being a military wag honey.

I am back!
Actually, I followed your advice of getting rid of the loneliness...and I went out with a girl from work! We started in a typical British pub (miss them sooo much) and then...we went to the restaurant! Of course, we are French!!
And to finish, my chéri called me!!
Anyway, I just wanted to thank you all for your warm welcome ! And I am very proud of being the first French wag!!!I am glad so went to France! what do you think of it?!
while i was travelling i met lots of amazing french people and made some really good friends. i promised myself that when i came back to england i would move to france for a while to learn to speak the language, and just enjoy the culture and visit friends... but then i got together with my man, and that plan changed :(
but i still really want to as soon as i get the chance to!!!

How long has your OH been away? Mine is also in Afghan at the moment and due back in around 6-8 weeks, we have just had RnR and it was lovely :D There are lots of girls counting down on tours at the moment so you're in very good company!

Thank you for your welcome everybody, it s so nice! and it cheers me up cause I am feeling very low tonight...It 's just so horrible to come home after a night out and hug just your teddy...Is the last part of tour the most difficult ? Any tips if so ?! What do you do when it happens ?
