Slimming world is when you have red days and green days, isn't it? One is where you can have carbs and one is where you can have meat or other protein.
So if your mate is having a pasta day that must mean a carb day, and it means she won't be having meat or eggs or cheese etc.

First of al you need to find out how strict that is and whether she can have say a milk-based sauce, or butter. Best to know where you are!

How about a mushroom risotto? You could use just olive oil and no butter and miss off the parmesan if you need to - maybe get some extra good stock from the chiller cabinet in the supermarket to make sure it's tasty.

Pasta with a tomato-based sauce would fit, but not spag bol because of the meat. You could roast some veggies (courgette, peppers, onion, mushrooms, aubergines, for ideas) and mix them into a tomato sauce (homemade or from a jar!) and add maybe a little chilli or some chopped up olives, and some herbs.

Does that help?

No probs - it's pretty easy (you can roast the veg in advance and chuck it all together at the last minute) plus it is super healthy - just use a smidgin of olive oil to roast the veg and that's all the fat that's in it, so if your mate is trying to lose weight she'll be grateful. Plus lots of healthy vegetables are always good. Ooh crush some garlic over the veg too. Herb-wise, basil and oregano are good, as is thyme.

To cancel out the healthiness, I suggest serving with a lighter red wine, such as a chianti or a beaujolais...
