Hey girls
Anna's been a star and set up a separate thingy for our book club. The idea here being that you can read what you like when you like and each book can have it's own thread that we can add to as and when. So if you're the first one to finish a book, start a thread with the title of the book. Obviously once the list starts to get longer, have a quick search for the title of your book so you know if you need to start a new thread or if there's already one going that you can contribute to. We can all still agree to read a book at the same time obviously or have a choice of say three of different genres so that people can pick something they will be more likely to enjoy.
Hope you girls like the idea and also that it works!!! Obviously, it's only going to be as good as we make it, so get reading and then get typing! :)

This is a great idea....means no one is constricted by time or having to get hold of a book and can pick and choose what we want to read!!!

ooh thats a great idea. i've read a couple of books the last 2 weekends. both very depressing ones though. i'll have to get on amazon and order some more books i've read all the ones i've got now. xx

Great idea!!! Maybe we could have a 'recommended reads' section/thread, I just say that coz the reviews themselves might give away too much if ppl want to go in there to discuss the book if that makes sense? I freaked out wen I saw the thread about not liking the ending to Dear John lol!! I'm reading Dear John and The Lost Symbol atm, hopefully have them read in the next month lol.xxx

Thats the way I understand it....Start a thread titled Passion - Louise bagshaw...review it and leave comments and then other people can read it if they want and add their little comments.
Good way for other people to get ideas of what to read xxx

I have just finished reading Linwood Barclays' Too close to Home, will try to write a review when I'm at home, dont think i'll be very good at it though!!
Ooo ive read Glitz and Glamour by Louise Bagshawe... Glitz is okay, ending abit disappointing but Glamour love it, proper girly book but quite i dunno almost dark in some places :)

Martz, the first one was called Scarred the other was called Broken. Not sure who they are by but they are both true stories based on child abuse, both were sexually abused by their fathers, and both very disturbing. xx

Glamour is about them 3 girls who used to be best friends at school, go about their lifes then meet up and start up a company called Glamour..i think thats right not read it in years lol

the cover i have of Glamour is like a yellow and the word Glamour in gold and on the letter l it like hangs down in a curve and a black chick is sat on it lol

Yay glad it's all back on the cards again....
Anyone fancy a joint read though, as in the same start time, i.e. agree on a book and give a week or two to get it off Amazon etc?
