Ahhh,Ok! :-)
I have been a guest at a few and they have been fab! x
we got married in a hotel, was a lovely sort of country one, beautiful gardens, converted barns etc. it was amazing, very beautiful. i've been to a couple too and one looked very tacky whereas the other was beautiful. i think it depends on the actual place x
We had our reception at a hotel but the main wedding at a church.
I think the same would apply if you married at a hotel as the reasons we wanted to haev our reception there, it is conveniant for the guests for accommodation, the staff do everything and are experienced as they do this day in day out, quite often have amazing grounds for photos (unless its July and it pours it down!!!).
I think hotel wedding are also a lot more personal than just going to the registry office - hope I don't offend anyone by saying that.
I know what you mean mate. I dont want a church or reg office, nothin aenst them. Fancy a nice hotel or house :D
Im getting married at bartle hall in preston, bit expensive but lovely

The location of the wedding is one of the main things you will always remember, if you want a fancy house or hotel go for it :)
If you have a tight budget you can always save else-where (we did by making our own boquettes) or barter with the hotel over the meals
Im getting married in a hotel and it is a really nice hotel. Make sure you see pics of the hotel before you decide on which hotel you go for.
I'll let you know how my wedding goes. You have to wait about 2.5 weeks.
