I want some prawns but how do i cook them and what could i have with them?xx
you buy ready cooked ones (there pink)
or the non cooked ones are like a grey colour and you can just fry them until pinky/ brown colour
have them on a jacket potatoe (sauce mayo and ketchup yum)
curry
stir fry
sweet and sour prawns
on a salad
Mmmmm... lol. We got the good food bbc recipe books and heres one we use.
Prawn stir-fry with spinich - serves two
3 tbsp oil
2 garlic cloves
1 small red pepper thinly sliced and seeded
200g prawns
2 tbsp soy sauce or fish sauce
100g spinach leaves
heat wol, add 2 tbsps of oil and sliced garlic.stir fry until golden. remove garlic from oil and place on kitchen paper to drain.
toss in pepper and stir fry for 1 min or until soft, then scoop out and set aside. add renaining oil, heat and toss in prawns and stir fry for 2-3 mins until beginning to brown. splash in soy or fish sauce. throw in spinach and stir fry until it begins to wilt. return peppers to frying and garlic.warm and serve.

ooo I love the ready cooked prawns u defrost, and have them cold with ripe avocado and thousand island sauce. yummy xxx
Well...there the pink ones but ive had some bacon now because i don't have anything too cook the prawns with and i don't want too become ill if i don't cook them properly lol x x

lol i love your description 'the pink ones' :) think if theyr pink they're cooked, theyre grey when theyre uncooked, and much bigger. Hope u liked ur bacon lol, im tucking into a tuna mayo sub mmmm xxx

My mummy has just made my prawns hehe in the pan with paprika x x
If prawns are pink than they are cooked and ready to eat. If you have frozen prawns (that are still pink) you just run them under a cold tap to defrost them.
Grey prawns are raw and need to be cooked until pink-- this is the same with lobster, they are also a grey/black colour when raw and red when cooked.
