hello ladies,..... thought things have gone quite quiet in here of late..... (probably because Cheryl hasnt had internet lol ;))
But
What's ur progress?
How long have you got left to go?
What have you done so far?
And what do you really really need to do!!!!!!?
Hey hun, how are you getting on?
i went and tried my dress on again yest and ordered it :) will be ready July/aug time but wont be able to try it on again until october (hopefully!!!)
We can't go much further until we know wat happens with james' training tbh. If he passes the next big test in a few weeks we were gonna start looking at places, then once he's (hopefully) passed out in july book everything up (maybe before actually)
We will be having our 'wedding' on December 18th, but this may be vow renewals/blessing and a christening for a baby followed by a weddin like party (with me in my dress!!) coz we may do the legal bit in july/aug time to sort MQs before the birth and so i can have my married name on the baby's birth certificate lol. bt things are abit up in the air atm with james' training...so yeah not much further.
oh except I think i might change the theme to midnight blue for the bridesmaids, goes with my dress and james' uniform xxx

I've got...
Dress, flowers, cake, venue, register office, hair, OH's outfit (number 1s! :D), car, DJ, rings, food, favours etc all sorted out so far :)
Need to:
Book honeymoon (disneyland yay!!!!!!), sort out passport, get bridesmaid dresses done, sort out invitations, decorations, and sort out the chocolate fountain :)

my theme for the bridesmaids and the reception is midnight blue white and silver :D
What have i done? thats a good question.
My dress, bridesmaids dresses, MOH dress and page boy outfits all ordered. james and the groomsmen are all in ceremonial garb.... so thats easy :D
invites done and sent, and almost got all of the rsvps...just chasing some stragglers!
tiara done and deciding on the veil at the moment.
honeymoon we wont decide until near or after the wedding depending on finances. ive decided on flowergirl but not bought them yet, and decided about the cake, photo, makeup, venues, hair all booked.... bought all the female attendees presents and got ideas for the boys!
ummmm,,,, what else is there
really need to book the cars, we've chosen them just need to actually pay them and put the deposits down!!!!!
um um um..... probbaly loads else but its all on my wedding spreadsheet (yes i am that sad )
i reckon we are about half to three qtrs the way there, just restricted with what we can do with finances and all!
i cant wait tho im so excited about it!!!!!!!!
Well I finally chose my dress this weekend!!! Still have to sort out the bridesmaids, but if we can't find anything in the shops, the bridal shop will make them :D
Considering I only have 4 months to get the finer details sorted (cake/place cards/table arrangements/balloons/evening buffet etc), I am soooooo laid back about it all lol :p think it's because OH is away, and I can't run stuff past him, add to that I am stressed oiut to hell with work, I just don't have the energy to do anything when I get home :(

i have loaddsss to do...dress, cake, flowers, shoes, bridesmaids dresses, craigs suits, the rest of the lads suits, photographer....too much to name lol
dont say that as mines only about 4 months as well and i dont seem to be panicing at all lol and just taking it as it comes, even though i have no idea where the money is coming from or when teh final details are going to fall into place eeeeeeekkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!

have the money all set out to one side, although I loathe to spend an absolute fortune on 1 day......would rather spend it on a FABULOUS honeymoon :D think the Seychelles is on the cards!!!!

we are maybe looking at a 2 week planned itinerary trip to Thailand but may do it after Afghan.
We only decided we were actually going to get married in January so are having to pay for it as we go along!
Midnight blue white and silver?? Damn, that's more or less my colour scheme too! :D lol
3 of us getting married in 4 months time.. Taking it as August, no? What date??

I'm just making sure everything is done and then i can sit back and relax for a while. At the moment im just sorting out the DJ and then i think i can relax for a bit. I dont think i will be able to relax that much as im getting married 9th april.
I think everything is sorted i cant think of anything else i need to do.

omg you are literally days away then!!!!!!
i cant wait to get to that stage, just been to the local patisserie about our cake and looks like we'll be able to get what we want for less than £100! but just deciding if i want 2 or 3 layers...... any ideas ladies..... i think i want a square one though.... depends on the cake stand the venue have for us!
Hey Girls, i have the net at work but i also have the net back at home SJ!! lol not been on for a while cos the OH is home :-)
Well so far i have managed to get the 3 bridesmaids dresses, fascinators for their hairs and the flowergirls tiara (she is choosing her own dress - within reason lol)
Got our ring pillow, flowergirl basket, guest book, wishing tree, pen, favours, my garter, bits for the kiddies buffet table (fun things), cake knife & server set (which i want engraved), all the invites are now out (RSVP's are coming back slowly mind!), paid all the flowers off (but now have to ask her to do another cosarge as i originally only had 2 B.Maids & a F.Girl but now have 3 B.Maids & a F.Girl) picked our wedding rings which i am finally ordering tonight!!, found a company who do chair covers for £1!! which i am just about to order now, just ordering 145, cos i have had a couple of people decline (my dads sisters!! :mad::mad: my Dad is so angry and upset bless him)

i am officially done! which is a good job as it's on Saturday! :p just have to collect my dress and the kilts then contend with the butterflies! good luck to everyone else that's getting organised!
Well Sarah, i am now after reading some reviews about the company called whitelilychaircovers thinking about just paying the extra and getting them from somewhere else.
I now have both our wedding rings bought (will post pics in another thread), have mirrors for the table centres, crystals, table number holders & the numbers, table plan made just need RSVP's back so i can add names, place cards all done, invites all out, Flowers all ordered & paid for (collect on the 9th July), favours arrived, got the cellophane and ribbon for them favour tags are on their way along with 2 wire cinderella carriages to go next to the wishing tree & guest book/pen. Have ring pillow on its way, DJ booked, Hotel booked, Photographer booked and paid, Registrar sorted just needs paid, my intent is on the 16th (after lots of hassle!!) OH intent has been done!! :-). Got both lots of transport sorted and got the 3 adult bridesmaids dresses, shoes & hair pieces also got flowergirls tiara. Piper is sorted, songs are picked, got 2 of the 3 adult bmaids gifts, balloons (even tho i hate them they are cinderella so i had to have them lol)got the flowergirl basket, my dress/tiara/veil & bolero just need the shoes which OH is buying!, about to sort insurance now, just need page boy suits and shoes, flowergirl dress & shoes, makeup/hair/nails.

wll as of today we now have a quote for the flowers, ive bought the bridesmaids jewellery and james' car has been paid for.
We have decided not to go with the caricaturist as for the number of guests it just wouldnt be worthwhile, and i have ordered the sand for my table decorations.
im also awaiting a quote on my wedding ring, and ive booked the makeup and nails and what not now.
just trying to do little bits here and there when i get my money in so that james isnt haveing to pay for it all!!! oh and we have ordered the guest book, and paid for james' sister and family ferry for when they come over..... phew lol
i also have the last installment from the church to pay for from my mum so that will be one more thing done :D

come on ladies whats ur latest progress......
this week we have had the sand for the centre pieces delivered. ive bought the favour boxes and cake toppers and cake ribbon!
and ive only got about 3 rsvps to get in now :D
ive said the end of april and then im going to be chasing everyone like mad!
okay so i have now booked and paid deposit on venue, booked church, booked and paid for wedding cars, found my dress and bridesmaids dresses, booked photographer and have now booked DVD package thingy for the day :)
the only job OH has is to book honeymoon and i have already told him where i want to go :)
