I felt like i couldnt enjoy the film... as they completely changed the ending. It ruined the story for me. I think the film would have been good if i didnt have the book to compare it to x
I've seen the film, and it had me blubbing like a baby...full on sobbing. If the book's more intense, I don't think I'd be able to read it...I'd be an emotional wreck by the time I finished it :( xxx
i agree sam. wen i was watching the film it just wasnt that enjoyable and the ending was completely different. the film also cuts out one of the main characters
Damn...now I'm intrigued, and want to read the book :p xxx

Gooo oonn read it .. you'll be surprised :p
See this is why I can never read a book then watch the film or vice versa! lol
Not quite the same but my example would be the Harry Potter books. JK Rowling is an amazing writer, writes so well that you're able to picture in your head how everything looks.
Then the films just don't marry up with that!!
The first 2 HP films were so true to the book and I thought "great, someone's finally doing a book justice by actually not messing round with it" then they ruined the 3rd film onwards!!
I've only watched the Twilight films and not read the books, how different are they from each other?

i used to love jodi picoult's books, have read just about all of them i think. however after a while you start to see a pattern in her writing style and so get a bit bored of them. I agree tho, the book of my sister's keeper is so well written and heart-wrenching that i havnt bothered to catch the film as I just know that it wont live up to the book.
however if any of you girls have read my sisters keeper and enjoyed it, i would completely recommend her other books called 'The Pact', 'Nineteen Minutes' and 'Plain Truth'.

as much as i love to look at robert pattinson, the films just dont do the books justice i dont think. Bella is nothing like how i imagine her when i read the books! I would reccomend reading the books.
I completly agree with Harry Potter, they miss sooo much out in the films, i do love the films but i think its mainly for rupert grint who plays ron.
My sisters keeper was a really good book, i thought the ending was better in the book it was a bit of a twist but i also enjoyed the film to, it did me cry x
