Well as my other thread says we are meeting the Reverend this Sunday, however he was kinda scary on the phone so I didnt mention I was pregnant :/

I'm really worried he's going to call me a whore and throw me out the vicarage lol!!!! I know he's a more laid back reverend considering our rural area as he is from south Wales, but did anyone else have difficulty getting married when they already had children?

I'm friends with his son on facebook so Im hoping maybe it's been discussed but I doubt it lol. Feel really nervous about meeting him now :/

This isn't usually taken into account hunny so i wouldn't worry. My Mum was 6 months pregnant with me when she married my Dad and she was only 16 years old!! my Dad was 24 (she was legal lol when she fell pregnant), anyhoo yeah so they normally only refuse you if your a divorcee or you try to marry in a church where you don't live in the area or your not the right religion

Hi mate,

My cousin got married in a church when she was pregnant and she told the vicar and he was fantastic. He was even asking her how she was coping with the pregnancy and everything :)

During the wedding, he told her OH off for not helping her onto her feet too :)

So don't worry about it, they don't normally say anything, i think he will happy for you, especially considering you ARE getting married, and not just choosing to have the baby and thats it!

I think they are normally only concerned with previous marriages, being part of the parish and your respective religions.

Relax!!! :) xxx
