Hi ladies, firstly apologies for another wedding thread- I know I must be boring everyone to tears with my wedding and baby threads atm but it's consuming my life atm and none of my friends have children or r getting married!! So rely on you ladies for advice :o

Ok so I've got 3 bridesmaids all adult around a size 10-12. I would like them all in the same colour but don't mind if my 'head' bridesmaid, my best friend, is wearing something in a slightly different style. We will be shopping in Cardiff end of the month but I'm just wondering if any of you had any money saving ideas or if you could say where you got yours from? It's kind of hard to shop on the high street as everything is so summery, I'm looking for floor length dark blue dresses, so have only found them in proper bridesmaid dresses which im guessing will be very expensive?? I'd love to not spend more than £100 per dress so I can afford to pay for them to get their hair and make up done. This is proving more stressful than getting my own dress!!!!xxx

That's beautiful hun thanks, and what a bargain price! Only shame is the black flowers, will look a bit harsh with my dress but would look gorgeous with OHs blues. I've not looked in Jane Norman before so I will def keep an eye out on there :) x

Well if you get stuck you could always do a Gok, unpick the black flowers, take off the black ribbon and buy some white/ivory ribbon to replace it... It's an idea anyway. :) xxx

All the big department stores have 'posh frock' bits where they have their own lines in prom style dresses and some actually have bargain bridesmaid dresses so I'd check them out hun!

I would definately recommend Monsoon for bridesmaid dresses.

You can get some lovely dresses for less than £80 each and they look the part just as much as an actual bridesmaid gown!!

Thanks everyone :) yeah I looooove monsoon, but all they're stuff is very light and pastelly atm but I'll keep an eye out.
