To miss my ex's family but not him?

I really dont have any feelings towards him except wish him happiness bla bla but i really miss his grandma and mum and keep thinking about them espically his grandma. I got on so well with them both and feel a bit lost not seeing them every week. Is this a bit weird?

I feel a little weird thinking of my exs family :o:confused:

I miss my ex's mum, but she died a few years ago, and she was like a second mum to me. If she hadn't have passed away, i'd have definately have stayed in touch with her, and still be visiting her :) xxx

I'm miss my nieces and nephews from my previous marriage sometimes - so no, I don't think it's that weird at all.

I dont think its weird.. you build such a big relationship with these people and when it ends with your partner you dont jsut loose them but you loose the family as well so quickly. I understand how you feel as over time you do build a relationship with the family, and then when it ends your partner gets dibs on them.. not fair! xx

i dont think its wierd at all hun. i used to miss my ex's family, especially his sister as we got on so well. but we're still in touch on fb. people come into your life and some of them we got on with really well and it's sad to lose that connection just coz u end a relationship with someone. x

I dont think its weird at all..... but I dont one little bit miss my ex's family.... they were all nutters and fruitloops! :D In fact it is one massive positive about us splitting up is never having to be in their weird and spiteful company again..... WHooooooop!

I'm still in touch with Kevs family. His sister has just had a baby who I'm going to go and visit next week, and his mum texts me sometimes. I saw them just as much as he did, because every weekend he was home I was there with him so I think we're all missing each other really! His family welcomed me with open arms and treated me so well, so I'll never stop missing them. If you're weird then I'm weirder!

i cant say ive ever been affected by this, with any of my ex's ive never been particularly close to their families so havnt missed them. however i dont think its wierd xxxxxx
